At lunch we all sat silently, Jade, Niall, Lillian, and I. We all exchanged awkward glances in between smacking on our sandwiches.

"So," Niall starts through his thick accent, breaking the silence. "after this year I'm headed back to Ireland for University."

"Niall that's fantastic! Is it the one you always talked about going to?" I question, bringing up the school from past conversations.

"Yes, the one my parents and brother went to, I want to follow their foot steps." He grins cheerfully.

"That's great, really!" I sound over excited, no one else seems to join in.

"I think I may go to the dance university in London. They accepted me in and it seems like my best option." Jade stabs a leaf of her salad while mumbling the words.

"Sounds awesome, you're an amazing dancer Jade!" I grin, taking another large bite out of my sandwich.

"Jade, you are the best dancer I have ever seen! You'll do amazing there." Lillian smiles, trying to join in on my happy parade." And Harry, you'll head to the University at Sea! You are all heading up on the roller coaster of life!" Lillian doesn't mention where she will be headed after this year, she is undecided.

At the end of the school day, Lillian tells me she wants to go back home to her brothers. Throwing her bags into the trunk, we take the long dirty road back to her cottage.

"Let me talk to my brothers first, then you can come in." The blonde informs me before hopping out of the vehicle. Her knock raddled the chipped wooden door. Alex's head pops out through a crack, his eyes widening at the young girl who stands before him. His arms wrap around her slim torso, embracing her in a tight hug. Letting go, Lillian begins talking, every so often her hand would raise to her cheek, wiping a fallen tear. She then gestures to me, instructing me to join her.

Alex's Eyes are hard when I approach, then crumbling I front of me they turn soft. "Thank you, you have been so helpful to Lillian and the rest of our family. I'd be beyond proud to call you apart of it one day." My cheeks tingle and turn pink, Lillian's are the same. Her hand clasps around mine as we enter the small home of the Peter's. Justin sat at the kitchen table, filling out some sort of paper work. His hair ruffled, he was stressed. Turning to Alex he looks concerned, not yet noticing Lillian and I at the door. His head shakes.

"We can't afford to keep Tate there and supply the medications and all." He mumbles, stress rubbed under his eyes.  Alex shakes his head, putting his hand to his chin.

"Lillian, Harry, didn't even see you there." The boy jumps up from his chair. "What a pleasant surprise." Hugging his sister, he hides his stressed look. Lillian steps away, nodding to her to brothers and leading me to her room.

Surprisingly, the room is neatly kept unlike the first time I was lead back. Her clothing folded carefully in the dresser. The sheets of the bed smoothed out, no crinkles to be seen.

"Thank you, Harry." She begins, tucking hair behind her ear.

"Why?" My mind wonders to confusion.

"For as long as I have know you, you have been only helpful and loyal to me. I noticed that I've only been a burden to you. I've broken your heart, though I knew I shouldn't. I've lied and fallen apart and you have helped me and comforted me. I want to thank you for that, that's way."Lillian breaths in heavily before mumbling out her next few words. " I believe it's best if we keep our distance. I do not deserve you care. You are with Jade and I should not make you question her. It's for the best, especially when we both head our separate ways in just a few short months."

My mouth parched, I can't not believe her words. I can not think of where to begin. "After all I've done, I'm not letting go without a fight. I'll never let go of you Lillian Peters."

"Letting go is the hardest part, I know. It has to be done." Her words forced.

"No, it doesn't have to be done."

"Harry, I'm just breaking you every second we spend together." Her voice rises at the conversation progresses.

I was about to shout back a fired answer, but her lips beckoned my in. My hand sliding in to cup her jaw. Her chilled fingers running through my curls. On lips crashing into one another, her peppermint lips mixing with mine.

"I'm not losing you." I state, standing up and leaving my blonde friend. "See you in homeroom."

"See you in homeroom."
