Edward looks at me with pain in his eyes. "Was-was she here Monday?" He breathes.

"Yes" I answer sternly and simple.

"What are you guys talking about?" Lillian questions, her face scrunching up in a puzzlers way.

"He already knows." Edward turns to her.

'How does he- What are yo talking about?" They start to bicker. The two talk fast like they have their own language and I can't understand one word. Turning in the chair I get back to work on the project. I work for a solid five minutes, until the room gets really quiet.

"Harry- you-your-your okay with this?" Lillian stutters, gesturing between herself and Edward.

This okay was what they needed. I look into her sad eyes, weak smiles hung on their faces. I was like the father accepting the Proposal to his daughter. I really didn't want to say yes, but if I did, I could see her drift away. If I say no, I might lose her as a friend.

"Yeah, I guess." I sigh, relief fills the quiet room.

"Thank you Harry!" Lillian cry's tackling me with a hug. I really need to stop hiding my feelings.

---------------------------------

At school on Friday, there's the big announcement. It's the biggest news all year. A quiet girl and a punk dating. It has happened before, it was just new and fresh. As everyone gossiped out them, I couldn't even break a smile. I was me again, only heartbroken. Nothing feels right.l, everything is weird.

At study hall, she didn't even sit with us. Jade was clearly in great pain, another one of her friends was seduced by a punk. That made three in counting, poor Jade.

"It just came out of nowhere." she crys into Niall's chest. They all looked hurt, starring down and not saying much.

Leigh Anne takes Jade home. I walk with Niall.

"Did you know" He asks out of the blue.

"What?" I nervously fib.

"You knew they were together. I mean you are like Lillian's best friend, and Edward's your brother." Explains Niall.

"No, I didn't" I say sighing. It was technically true. I didn't know for quite a long time, but then I did. I couldn't tell him it wasn't me he hung out with at the beginning of the week. I had to change the subject. "So, how were football tryouts?"

"They went well, just Louis is team captain." He frowns, rolling his eyes.

I was about to say Louis was nice, but that would blow my cover. "Oh, that's too bad."

The conversation stops there. We are quiet. I give him a weak smile and a wave when I reach my house. I run up the stairs to my room and drop my book-bag. Plopping on the bed, I cover my face with my pillow and cry.

The rest of this year is not gonna be fun at all.
