I enter the school building just like any other day. Exceptions not just another day of boring high school. It's my first day as a senior.

I pick up my schedule from the front desk, greeting the workers and asking how their summer went. I glance at my schedule that will run my life for the next year. Honors classes. The set up didn't look too bad, that's until I walked into homeroom.

"Liddie", which is what I decided to call Edward and Lillian, being all lovey dovey in MY homeroom. Fantastic. I take my seat, which is very far away from them.

The morning gets worse when none of my friends walk through the classroom doors. I was alone, all year.

Class stats promptly at eight with introductions and a basic outline of the upcoming year. The same goes for my other classes before lunch, boring and friendless.

Finally lunch rolls around. I waste no time, and rush down to save the group's table. No one comes. Leigh Anne sits with her new boyfriend she got over the summer. Liam sits with his precious Sophia, and Lillian sits with the punk rockers. I sit quietly, about to cry at my loser state. Suddenly I feel a chair pull out beside me. Jade plops down, sadly, next to me.

"This year sucks already!" She whines and starts to pick at her food.

"Agreed!" I look at her face. Her eyes look hurt and her usual playful smile is swept away.

"So, anything I can look forward to?" She asks with her sad eyes.

"Homecoming?" I answer questionably, taking a bite out of my sandwich.

"Don't remind me! I don't even have a date! I thought Niall was going to ask me, but all he cares about is football nowadays." Jade complains, throwing her arms in the air. She pushes her food away, choosing not to eat.

"I don't either." My voice trails off and I finish the sandwich. We go silent for a while. The only sound made by our cheerful and chatty classmates.

"Hey Jade." I take a deep breath in.

"Yeah Harry?"

"Would you like to go to the Homecoming dance with me?" I let my breath out.

"Well it looks like Niall isn't going to ask me..." She mumbles so I can barely hear her, " I'd love to go with you Harry!" She flashes me a cheeky grin.

"Sounds lovely!" I say before going back to my food.

Jade's very pretty and one of the sweetest friends I have. I just hope this doesn't make our friendship awkward. I especially didn't want to lose Niall, but I think I already did.

I don't care if Lillian gets hurt. I want her to feel the pain I've felt for a while now. I can't be the one that's always hurting.

{well this chapter was short, but it had it's twists. I'm pretty sure my mom hates me guys. She threw out my 1d perfume box and note, some posters, and almost my 5sos album. Now she's going to take my phone away at 6pm everyday. Which means probably like no updates, so don't get made at me. Had my first week of highschool. It sucked. I took a nap one day and woke up and asked my mom if I was late for school, she was telling me it was dinner time. So I'm going insane. :(

Saw the movie "if I stay" sooooo good, check it out. I recommend it. I'm planning on rereading my favorite romance books and looking out for ways to fix this story up! :)

QOTD: what's your favorite actual book?

Mines like The Hunger Games series, Twilight Saga, Harry Potter Series, and Percy Jackson. Yeah I love those.
