Chapter 25

'Professor ! You need to see this ! There's...'

When you rose your head to show the map to the Headmaster, you found yourself alone. Professor Dumbledore had vanished. Your heart was racing even more. Where di he go, why would he disappear like that ? Especially at that time ! He needed to alert the ministry and the dementors.

You checked on the map but saw his name alongside Hagrid's and the Minister next to the groundkeeper's hut. How could that be ? How could someone be at two different place but at the same time, this was impossible-...

You suddenly got it. Dumbledore was surprised to see you here because you were expected elsewhere. Joining Hagrid. Time. But why would he...no. You had learn to trust the man now. His secrets were as deep as his mysterious sentences.  You looked around you and ran at the end of the bridge towards the school. There you searched a place to hide yourself and found a spot between two walls. Seeing nobody was around or could see you, you took out your time-turner and turned it two times. Just before the exam. The surroundings started to spin around you, the sun to rise again backwards. In twenty seconds you found yourself back at the end of lunch, when yourself would exit Hagird's Hut.

You carefully made your way to the groundkeeper's house, making sure not to be seen. However someone grabbed your arm while you were at the top of the hill that led to Hagrid's. The pale grey sky showed a pale brown hair.

'Shouldn't you be in front of the exam's class by now Y/n ?' said Remus.

You looked at the professor panicked and overwhelmed.

'Is everything all right ?'

You fumbled to find a lie.

'I was actually searching for you ! Before the exam I- I needed to hand you this.' you said giving the map away.

This way Lupin will alert the dementors by the time Harry reached the whomping willow you thought.

'Since I'll be in exam, I wanted you to keep an eye on Harry...'

He looked you puzzled but nodded still. You slowly walked back to the castle, faking to go to potions, but you felt Lupin's eyes on you until you actually entered the corridors. You waited there at least five minutes before you actually ran back to Hagrid's.

Noises behind you alerted you. Ron, Harry and Hermione were coming your way, probably seeking to talk with Hagrid. Of course they would, it was Buckbeack execution today.

Gosh you wished you could save him too. You quickly looked to your right and left. There was nowhere you could hide.

"Shit."

You headed towards the forbidden forest and stood behind a tree. The three third years had almost ran into you. You watched them from a distance until they entered Hagrid's Hut. Safely and silently you walked at the edge of the forest, saw the Hippogriff snoring in the yard, saw Harry by the window and approached the walls of the house. Stuck on the cold surface of the rock  you listened to the trio's conversation.

'Scabbers !'

Toilet Brush ? You thought.

'That means you owe somebody an apology?' Said Hermione haughtily.

They bickered for at least fifteen minutes when suddenly far voices caught you off guard. Dumbledore and the Minister.

'Shitty Shit.'

'What was that ?' Asked Hermione.

'Ouch !' Yelled Harry.

Next moment they were escaping by the back door, at the opposite of you. But the headmaster was coming your way.
