Chapter 6 : Dark and sexy

To be back on campus felt weird for Mina. In general she loved returning to her daily routine, after resting during holidays at home. Of course, this time was different, because she had no one to hug when she entered her room. Sana was absent, and even if she had been here, they were strangers now. 

Even if it was already late, she unpacked her suitcase, deciding it was better to get rid of this unpleasant chore right away. She wanted to get back on tracks as soon as she could. Her sentimental life was a mess but there was no reason to let it affect her studies, and to succeed she needed a neat environment. 

When she was done, she laid on the bed, she had no idea what to do now. Sleeping was the best option. She initially came back earlier because Tzuyu texted her about a Halloween party this weekend, and she agreed to come. She was not thinking further at this moment as she was having a good time with her family and friends in her hometown, but now that she was alone and that it was the night before the party ... She wasn't sure about anything. The last time was intense and she was still torn. She could feel how messed up she was getting, she hated this, yet, it was intriguing. For so long, she avoided any kind of parties and everyone who wouldn't fit her standards, but what did it bring her ? Good grades and her parents pride were so important for her, but she could also see what she missed, what she lost. Her girlfriend for example. She had no idea what she wanted to do. Or it was more like she knew what she wanted to do, she just didn't know if she should do it. She just hoped sleeping would bring solutions.

It didn't, and if it weren't for her meeting with Tzuyu later, she would have spent the day thinking in bed. They agreed to meet for lunch at noon and it was already quite late in the morning so she got ready to go out and walked quickly to the restaurant. Tzuyu was always on time and she welcomed her with a wide smile. 

"Mina ! I'm so happy to see you" She seemed excited and it was a bit contagious. Mina just smiled as her friend kept talking. They had a shopping session planned all afternoon since they had to pick outfits for the night. It wasn't a costume party, but Nayeon asked everyone to choose "dark and sexy" clothes, so they thought it was a good occasion to go to the mall together. 

After being gone for while, Mina realized she was pleased to spend the day with her friend, maybe she wasn't as lonely as she thought here. If her friend usually had a calm temperament, shopping made her really excited. They had lunch very quickly before she led her in every shop she could see. Despite the fall chilly weather, it was a pretty bright afternoon and walking in the streets under a feeble sun felt good. Mina was way more enthousiastic than earlier and it reassured her, she was going to have a good evening with Tzuyu and the new friends she made. 

"This is the one ! I'm sure we'll find the best outfits here, come !" Tzuyu grabbed her hand and led her inside a small vintage shop.

It was very tiny but there were clothes everywhere, it was quite impressive. Even if she was used to fancy stores, Mina thought that she could find something appropriate for the party, she hoped so at least because it was already a bit late and they would need to get changed and ready for the night soon. Tzuyu seemed to know the place and was going through the whole shop, piling several dresses, skirts and jumpsuits, most of them were black and short. 

"These ones would fit you I think" she said as she handed her three dresses. It was a good thing Tzuyu had suggestions for her because she had no idea where to look. They walked to the dressing rooms but Mina was startled by familiar voices.
