It's past 7 pm and we are heading to Cubao to eat dinner, Jisoo is there na daw with Ate Seulgi kaya naka queue na sila kanina and we are just in time.
"Uy, nice cap. Ganda neto pag mag occular a" sabi ni Jung Ha nang makita nito ang cap na naiwan sa backseat. "Arbor ko na 'to, Ate Jen" napalingon naman kami ni Rosie sakanya.
Inagaw ko sakanya yung cap, "Ay no. Not this one" sabi ko at ipinatong na ang cap sa dashboard para di niya makuha.
"Ay ang damot" sagot naman nito.
"What's with this one ba? Bakit ayaw mo ipamigay? E you give naman anything we ask from you lalo na pag nagamit mo na." my bestfriend curiously asked.
I just shrugged and smiled at them teasingly before I started driving.
Hindi ako tinigilan ng dalawa sa pangungulit nila saakin hanggang sa makaupo na kami kung nasaan ang mga kasama namin.
"Oh, kumain na tayo. Ba't niyo ba inaasar 'to?" tanong ni Ate Seul
"Because she is already dating and she is not telling us" sagot naman ng bestfriend ko kaya napailing nalang ako sakanya while I chuckled.
"Uy really? Nagdedate ka na Jen? Sino? Bakit hindi mo sinama ngayon?" tanong naman ng jowa niya
"Para sakanya ba yung pinaadvance order mo for takeout?" gatong pa ni Ate Seul.
"Ipagtetakeout mo nanaman siya? Sino ba yan?" curious na tanong nanaman ng bestfriend ko.
"Nanaman?" curious na tanong din ng pinsan nito.
"No a. My brothers are there sa house and they asked takeouts for dinner" I answered.
I couldn't stop chuckling because hinahotseat nila ako but I tried so hard para matigil na yung mga questions nila.
"Can we just eat muna?" I teasingly asked them kasi parang hindi na sila interested na kumain at mas mabubusog yata sila kung sasagutin ko lahat yung mga tanong nila.
"No. Answer us muna" sagot ng bestfriend ko pero sinabay na din nito ang pagkain kaya napatawa ako. Umagree naman ang tatlo.
Kaya pagkalunok ko ng kinakain ko, "Okay. Yes I am dating." I answered and they are making kulit nanaman kung sino daw ba pero I busied myself eating.
"Wait bebe, paano mo ba nalaman?" Jisoo curiously asked her girlfriend.
Rosie answered her after drinking her Iced Tea since we are not in the mood for alcoholic drinks.
"Well" she said with a dramatic pause "First, when we ate sa Alabang, she ordered a takeout for someone and nauna na siya magdrive paalis. I have a strong feeling na ayaw niyang makita ko kung where siya pupunta kaya niya ako iniwan. Second naman, the day after our dinner sa Alabang diba nagplay tayo tennis bebe?" she asked her jowa and the other nodded "When I went to fetch her kasi hindi pa siya nagrereply, wala siya sa house niya. AND when she arrived, she went out her car wearing a big shirt na I am very sure isn't hers. So, kung saan man siya pumunta that night, most probably she slept there na din." and she looked at me with accusing stares pa
"wow, you guys are really talking ABOUT ME like as if I am not here?" I playfully rolled my eyes at them but they did not care at all. My bestfriend even shushed me before continuing with her chika.
"And then lastly, kanina. We saw a cap sa car niya and Jung Ha wanted to arbor it but she did not give in. I wouldn't be suspicious about it kaso it's Jennie. She gives nga kahit yung mga Chanel niya pag hiningi mo" and then I felt all of them staring at me.
"What now?"I asked them with a chuckle but couldn't hide my nervousness
"Ikwento mo na kasi Ate Jen" sabi ni Jung Ha
"What will I kwento?" I mockingly answered "Eh I admitted naman na that I am dating someone na a" I added.
"Sino ba yan? Bakit hindi mo pa pinapakilala samin? San kayo nagkakilala?" Jisoo curiously asked.
"You have madaming questions ha" I mockingly answered
"Hala. Paano na yung ship namin? Bagay pa naman kayo ni Lisa" sabi naman ni Ate Seul
which made me chuckle and shake my head.
"Who are you dating nga?" My bestfriend asked again
"Architect din ba yan?" tanong ni Jung Ha
"No a" I answered as I shake my head again
"Engineer?" My bestfriend asked
"No" I answered again.
"Client?" sabay na tanong nila Ate Seul at Jisoo
Muntik ko na naibuga sakanila yung iniinom ko because of the question
"Why do you assume na Architect, or Engineer, or Client ko siya?" natatawang tanong ko sakanila
"Because all you do is work. Duh" sagot ng bestfriend ko at tumango pa ang tatlo agreeing sa sinabi nito
I rolled my eyes at them,
"I have a life naman outside work a" I answered, my forehead creasing
"Oh please, Jen. Who are you kidding here?" My bestfriend sarcastically answered na nagpatawa sa mga kasama namin and it made me pout. Why are they attacking me?
"Basta. I'll bring nalang siya as my date sa group hangout next time."
