"Shawn" I called for my nephew's attention and he looked up to me as he paused what he was doing. "that's enough playtime for you baby" I softly told him then turned to  the person beside him "And you, honey, have to sleep early" nginitian lang ako ng dalawa na busy maglaro ng lego. 

I let out a deep sigh, crossed  my arms, and narrowed my eyes to both of them "Come on, it's time to eat dinner" I told them firmly and they tidied up their mess as soon as they can. Nagmadali pa silang pumunta sa dining room at iniwan na ako dito mag-isa. Napailing nalang ako sa nangyari. Yung girlfriend ko akala mo e 5 years old lang din parang yung pamangkin ko. 

Pagkadating ko sa dining room ay ready na ang dalawa na kumain, at hinihintay na lamang ako. Naipaglagay na din ako ng girlfriend ko ng pagkain na niluto ko para saaming tatlo. 


My girlfriend and I are cooking some pancakes and bacon for breakfast, she came home to me last night after her duty. I am more of a taste tester here because she doesn't want me to lift a finger. "Now try this" sabi nito habang nakaready na ang slice ng ginawa niyang banana pancake at nilagyan pa nito ng kaunting honey at agad ko namang tinanggap ito. 

"Wow, this is good." sabi ko sakanya, nanlalaki pa ang mata ko "I love this, Lis. I can taste the bananas more" I told her with a giggle and gave her a peck pero niyakap ako nito at idiniin pa ang halik namin "Hmm, yeah it's really good. You taste like honey--" 

"what honey?" napahiwalay kami sa isa't isa nang biglang may nagsalita. 
"Hey kuya, you're here?" I innocently asked my brother acting like everything is normal. Para na din maiwasan yung tanong niya. 

Napatingin ito sa katabi ko na parang nanigas na sa kinatatayuan niya kaya nagsalita na ako at ipinakilala sila.

Iniwan muna ulit nila Kuya at ng asawa niya ang pamangkin ko dahil may biglaan silang aasikasuhin. At dahil wala naman akong trabaho ay pumayag na din ako, may kasama pa akong magbabantay. 

"Shawn, you have to eat your veggies together with your meat." sabi ng girlfriend ko nang mapansin niyang nilalagay nanaman ng pamangkin ko ang mga gulay sa gilid ng plato niya. Ganito nanaman sila kaninang lunch e. 

He smiled sheepishly then quickly ate his veggies. "I finished the veggies, Tita Doc" sabi nito sa girlfriend ko at pinakita pang empty na yung mouth niya after chewing. 

"Good job" sabi naman ng girlfriend ko and my nephew showed us his proud smile. 

"Cuddle time?" my girlfriend cutely asked me as she walked out of the bathroom.

I slightly giggled then extended my arms to her at agad naman siyang lumapit saakin then cling to me on the bed. Ang komportable na ng posisyon niya na nakaunan sa may tummy ko as I caress her head, playing with her hair. 

"You okay?" I asked her softly
"Very" she answered me quietly before looking up to meet my gaze "I really had fun spending time not only with you, but also with your nephew." she said with a sweet smile "Thank you for introducing him and your brother to me" 

"Well, I was planning on bringing you home next weekend to meet the whole family na nga e. Napaaga lang na dinala ng Kuya si Shawn here." 

She hummed while she clinged more into my body. 
"Honey, are you gonna be able to join us sa dinner na inoorganize ni Ate Seul?" I asked her kasi nagiingay sila sa gc kanina. 

"Yes honey. I don't have pasok naman and I'll have the weekend off also" she answered then umayos ng higa sa tabi ko, pinaunan na din niya ako sa braso niya then gave me forehead kisses. 

"We can go derecho pauwi to your house after, maybe? IF we won't be drinking" she added with a laugh. 

"We'll see then" I answered with a small smile "By the way, I kind of told them last time na I'll be bringing the person I am dating to the next get together" dagdag ko then looked at her, she is grinning at me. 

"They don't have any idea that you are dating me?" she asked pa 

"Well, none at all. You haven't been able to attend our get togethers due to your busy schedule. And I don't want to just tell them e." I answered

"Oh please, honey. You just actually want to tease them" she said then kissed the grin off my face. She takes her time exploring my mouth as I grip unto her shoulder. She makes me feel safe, she makes me forget about the  doubts I had before. 

She embraces me with the arm she made me use as my pillow while her other hand caresses me, slowly and smoothly. She gave my butt a quick squeeze before she slides up the small of my back. Every touch and every kiss, is a reminder of having a wonderful person like her in my life. I don't want this to end.
