Ch-10 Promises

The next day, Aarohi was working inside her cabin when her phone started ringing. The call was coming from an unknown number. She thought it might be any of her patients. She quickly received the call and said "Hello! Dr. Aarohi singhaniya speaking. Who's this?"

"Good afternoon Dr Aarohi Singhaniya! I have something to tell you. It's urgent so quickly come to my office. I'm sending you the address within a minute. And by the way, I'm Arhaan" By saying this he disconnected the phone call.

Aarohi was extremely angry with him, "What the hell does he think of himself! How can he order me?? I don't have any work or what? And What is this important work? Is it related to anulekha aunty?"

By saying this she left the hospital.

Aarohi stopped in front of OBEROIs and Co. For the first time she had visited his office, so she didn't have any idea where was his cabin. She went towards the receptionist, "Excuse me miss, can you please tell me where is Mr Arhaan Oberoi's cabin?"

"It's on the 15th floor, ma'am! And you must be Dr singhaniya right?" Asked the receptionist.

Aarohi got confused, "How do you know me?"

"Arhaan Sir had already informed me that you will be coming. So I guessed that you must be Dr Aarohi." Replied the receptionist.

Aarohi slightly nodded her head and left from there. She went towards the lift, she pressed the 15th floor and waited for the lift to reach there. The lift suddenly stopped on the 10th floor, the door opened and she saw a young girl entering into the lift. The girl saw that she was going to the 15th floor, and only Arhaan's cabin was there on the 15th floor. Not all the employees are allowed there.

"Who are you? And why are you going to the 15th floor? Do you have an appointment? Without any appointment, you cannot go there." Said the girl in an angry voice.

"Excuse me miss! I don't think it is necessary to tell you why I'm going there. So kindly mind your own business" By saying this, Aarohi walked out of the lift.
The girl was fuming in anger, "How dare she talk to me like this! I'm Divya Sharma! No one can talk to me like this"

Aarohi entered his cabin without even knocking on the door. Arhaan was also surprised by this action of Aarohi.

"Dr Singhaniya! Don't you think you should knock before entering someone's cabin" said Arhaan turning pages of some file.

"Even you didn't bother to ask me whether I was busy or free. You just gave your statement and disconnected the call! Don't you think you should have asked whether I want to meet you or not!" Said Aarohi in an angry voice.

Arhaan stood up from his place and said, "Dr Singhaniya! I don't have time to waste. So I'm coming straight to the point. My mom wants you to marry me, I hope you know that. And for me my Mom's wish is everything. I can do anything for her. So if you do not have any problem then, I'll take your answer as a yes."

Aarohi was shocked to hear this. She didn't know what to say, Aarohi remembered something and said, "Mr Oberoi. I...I can't marry you! I love Anulekha Aunty very much, but marriage...I don't believe in marriages. Marriages can only give pain to people, not happiness."

"Dr Aarohi! What do you think I'm very much interested in marrying you. No not at all! I just want to fulfil my mom's wish. That's it!" Said Arhaan.

Aarohi got extremely angry with Arhaan, in a loud voice she said "If you are so worried about her then where were you when your mother was fighting for her life, Mr Arhaan Oberoi? Her condition was extremely critical. She could have even died!! But...but you still didn't come to meet her. What type of son are you huh?? And now just to fulfil her wish! You are forcing your decisions on me?"
