It was around 1 pm, Arhaan was working in his cabin when a name flashed on his mobile screen.
"Bhai!! where are you?? it's already 1!" said the girl on the phone.
"What is this question Avni, I'm in my cabin. where else am I supposed to be at this time? Said Arhaan.
"NO..don't tell me you forgot"
"Forgot what, Avni?"
"Bhai...today you were supposed to go for your wedding shopping with us!! how could you forget that!!!"
"Oh shit! I...uh...I was just about to leave..."
"Stop making excuses, I know you had forgotten about this. Anyways!! you don't have much time so please be quick. I'm sending you my location....and if you are late then...you know what I'll do!" smirked avni
"yes yes, miss drama queen I know what you can do!"
Avni giggled, "okay okay, byee see you soon, Mr.groom!"
Arhaan was happy to see Avni like this. He quickly got up from his seat and left his cabin.
"Nikhil, I'm leaving the office early today. I have some personal work. If there's anything important call me okay?" Said Arhaan in a deep voice.
"Sir you are going somewhere?" asked Nikhil
"Um..yeah, for my wedding shopping."
"Oh! you must be feeling very happy? Aarohi ma'am is so lucky.."
"Enough of happiness, now get back to work!"
"So..sorry sir." Replied Nikhil

Arhaan had arrived at the shop. It was one of the most exclusive shops in India. Arhaan came out from his car and headed towards the shop. Mahima Ji, Anulekha Ji, Sanjana Ji along with Avni, and Aarohi were present.
"Where were you from so long?" asked Anulekha Ji
"Maa...I had an important meeting."
Aarohi was surrounded by the staffs of the shop, they were suggesting her different types of Lehengas and Saaree. Aarohi looked extremely tensed and nervous, She was so confused with so many options.
"Why am I doing this?! These heavy lehengas...these bulky saares are not my thing! But..I can't even tell this to them. Oh God!!! save me!!!" Muttered Aarohi.
"Beta, Do you like this? or..this? do you want something else?" said Anulekha ji
"Hello ladies!! look who's here!" A charming voice filled the atmosphere.
"Aree, Ikshit beta we were waiting for you only. Why are you so late?" Said Anulekha Ji
"Why are you even here?" muttered Arhaan
"Hello brother!" Said Ikshit placing his hands on Arhaan's shoulder.
"Hii Bhabi, How are you? All good?"
"yes...all good" Replied Aarohi.
"Bhabi! look at this...this is soo pretty! go and give this a try!! go goo!!" Aarohi went towards the changing room and locked the door from inside.
Aarohi's POV:
"This is the heaviest lehenga I have ever seen! I..I can't do this!! Why do people even get married! I mean what's the point of this??!! eventually we will end up hating each other!! These functions...events...arrangements...are these even worth? What if one day Arhaan comes to me and says let's get divorced..."
"He won't!" A deep voice came from the other side of the door. Aarohi's body freezed. She wasn't expecting this! It was Arhaan's voice. This deep..masculine...sensual voice can only be his!
Arhaan sighed, "Aarohi, If you really think that I would just randomly abandon you after our marriage then...then you are wrong! I know what I'm doing. Marriage is a very big responsibility and I..will eventually learn how to tackle all this."
"Damn!! This voice..it always made me nervous and introverted, which I was not. Every time I look at him something...something weird happens inside me...which is very very new. Whenever I look at him, my heart melts! I..I lose control over myself! Is this what is called as lov..." Said Aarohi in her mind.
"Aarohi! will you speak up?"
"What are you doing here?"
"WHAT!? I..I got a phone call..wait! don't act smart with me. Don't change the topic and...tell me Aarohi..Is there something which is troubling you?"
There was a sense of order in his last words..which forced me to share my feelings with him!
I took a deep breathe and said,"Arhaan, look I might sound rude but..we both know that there are high possibilities of us separating after our marriage"
"And...why do you think so?"
"Cause we don't love each other! Will you be able to love me Arhaan? Tell me! Will you ever accept me as your wife?!"
I don't know suddenly from where I got this courage...but I had to tell him what I felt! There was silence. Complete silence.
After a long time, he replied "I guess, you are right...we won't be able to love each other..never."
That one sentence had shattered the tiniest hope that I had...A sudden pain rose in my heart..making me feel suffocated! I wanted to run away...run away from everything...from everyone...I was tired of pretending to be okay when I wasn't!! But ofcourse It had nothing to do with him. It wasn't about him.
Leaning against the door I said, "Don't decide for me Arhaan."
Arhaan was quite. A few moments later I heard footsteps of Arhaan going fainter and fainter. I opened the door and he wasn't there.

Aarohi came out of the trial room with the lehenga in her hand.
"Uh..can we look for something else. This...this is not working for me probably!" Said Aarohi
Before she could say anything or anyone else could, Arhaan grabbed her wrist and made her stand infront of a mirror.
"Excuse me, can you please bring the lehenga I selected" Said Arhaan
Everyone was shocked to see him saying this! Did Arhaan actually select a lehenga for his soon-to-be wife? Was it really happening?!
"What are yo-"
"Shut up and stand here. Quite."
Arhaan took the lehenga in his hand and gave it to Aarohi, "Go and wear this."
Aarohi didn't argue and went to the trial room. After a few minutes she came back wearing the lehenga.
It was a red coloured lehenga which had very light embroidery on it. It was absolutely amazing! This was something that suited Aarohi, simple yet beautiful!
"But there's no work on the lehenga! It is very simple" said Avni
"And so is Aarohi! Do you like this?" Asked Arhaan.
"Yeah..I think I'll go with this one" said Aarohi.
Arhaan smiled.
Later, Navya and Akruti also joined them. They did some more shopping and went to their respective houses.
