Chapter 4-The Morning

I woke up in the morning and got ready for school, I took a shower and put on a leather miniskirt, and a pink tank top with my pink converse, and a light coat of makeup."

I then heard the phone ring and I ran to answer it. I said "hello, who is this" then I heard a New York accent and immediately knew who it was. "Oh thank god you made it home safe Doll." He paused then continued "what the hell were you thinking leaving my place so late last night alone. You could have woke me up and I would have taken you home stupid." I said " I'm sorry I didn't want to wake you up." He then said "well next time you better, I was worried somethin' happened to ya" he then changed the subject and said "Two-bit said he couldn't walk you home and I have to meet Tim Shepherd, so Soda will come pick you up." I said "alright, that's fine, I have to go or I'll be late for school, Bye Dal." He said "Bye Doll." He then hung up and Two-bit came down the stairs.

He said "hey come on y/n, we're going to be late for school, my mom will be pissed if I am late for school one more time this week" we then got out and walked to school very fast, so we wouldn't be late, we made it but barely.

When I arrived everyone was staring at me, they were pointing at me and whispering to each other, when we walked over to Pony, he put his head down and blushed, like he was embarrassed. I looked at him confused and asked "hey Pony, what's wrong, what's everyone whispering about?" He kept his head down and said quietly "everyone is saying you slept with Dally" I then felt extremely embarrassed.

I heard the bell ring and I went to class, keeping my head down, trying not to attract any attention to myself, but it made no difference. I arrived to class and sat down at my desk. Before class started I felt a tap on my shoulder and turned to see a Soc boy. He laughed and said "hey new girl, is it true you slept with Winston?" I said annoyed "that's none of your god dam business" and turned back around and class started.

*TIME SKIP*

I walked out of school and saw Soda waiting for me in the parking lot. He saw me and smiled and said "hey y/n, how was school?" I couldn't help smiling back and said "it was okay." He continued smiling and said "since it's pretty early do you want to go see a movie." I continued smiling to and I said "that would be nice." And with that we started walking to the movies. We talked a lot on the way way there, we had fun and laughed, I think Soda was beginning to become one of my best friends.

Once we arrived at the movies I sat down and Soda took a seat next to me. We watched the movie and afterwards Soda took me home, we continued talking and laughing on our way to my house. Before I went inside I smiled and said "thank you for taking me to the movie Soda, I had a wonderful time." He smiled back and said "no problem y/n, I had a really nice time too" we waved goodbye to each other and then I walked into my house.

When I entered I saw Two-bit sitting on the couch. "Hey Two-bit, I'm home" I said. He smiled at me and said "hey y/n, what took you so long." I said "I went to go see a movie with Soda before he walked me home" Two-bit made a confused expression and said "I thought you were dating Dally." I responded "I am, Soda just brought me to the movies as friends." He nodded then said "well I gotta go, I have a date with a blonde." I laughed and he smiled at me then left.

I was left alone at the house, since I was so tired from being up so late yesterday that I decided to just go to bed, tomorrow was Saturday, so I would probably just be hanging out with the gang. I got changed and went to my room and fell asleep.

In the morning I woke up to Two-bit yelling "hey come on y/n, go get ready, we're hanging out with the gang today." So I got up and I took a shower. I decided since Dally was going to be there I wanted to dress nice, I put on a short black dress, and one of my nicer black leather jackets over it, and my pink converse, and some makeup And then I went back downstairs "hey y/n, ready to go? Why are you all dressed up." Two-bit said. I shrugged and said "no reason, just felt like it, and yes I am ready to go." And with that we started walking to the Curtis brothers house.

When we got there I saw Pony, Soda, Darry, Steve, Johnny, Dally all gathered in the living room. When we walked in Dally smirked and said "hey Doll, what took you so long to get here?" Before I could answer "y/n took forever getting ready." Two-bit said smiling and rolling his eyes. I playfully punched Two-bits shoulder and smiled and said "I did not" he continued smiling and said "sure whatever you say."

Dally smirked and said "come over here Doll." I went over to him and he pulled me onto his lap, in front of the entire gang, in front of my cousin. I was so embarrassed and I started blushing. Two-bit rolled his eyes and said "can you not have my little cousin sit on your lap in front of me." Before I could say anything, Soda jumped in and said "I agree" I ignored Soda and said to Two-bit "Two-bit, I'm not a little kid anymore, I'm almost 15 and I can make my own decisions. After that Two-bit rolled his eyes and didn't say anything else and I continued to sit on Dally's lap.

Soda kept looking, but would look away when I noticed, Dally seemed to notice this two and would smirk at Soda and then kiss me, or fiddle with his necklace that was around my neck every time Soda looked over. Soda seemed to be getting annoyed, but I didn't understand why.

After a while Dally smirked and whispered in my ear "hey Doll, you wanna go do something fun." I smiled at him and said "yes" he continued smirking as he grabbed my hand and led me out of the house, with Two-bit giving both of us a suspicious look.
