Chapter 2- The Ride Home

I was riding home with Two-bit, when he smiled wildly at me and asked "so, who's your favorite, Dally, Soda, or Steve" I smiled and rolled my eyes and punched his shoulder playfully and said "I don't have a favorite Two-bit" he laughed and said "well I'm team Soda" then earned him another playful punch on the shoulder, which only made him laugh harder.

We arrived home and I saw my aunt making dinner in the old run down kitchen. She noticed us and smiled "hey you two, dinners almost done." We had dinner and a few hours later I got ready for bed, because I had my first day of school the next day.

I woke up early in the morning and started getting ready. I took a shower and then I decided to wear a pair of jeans shorts, they might have been a little too short, but it's fine, and for a shirt I put on a spaghetti strap crop top. I put on a light coat of makeup, and then I put on my pink converse. As I was finishing up, I heard Two-bit knocking on the door and saying "come on y/n, we're going to be late." So I finished quickly. I came out and he sighed "y/n, you're dressed too much like a Soc." I was very confused and I asked him "what's a Soc?" He looked at me and said "there the south side rich kids, we are the greasers, we live on the north side and are poor, and us and the Socs don't get along well." I just kept my head down and said "whatever, come on, like you said, we'll be late."

And with that, we headed to the school, when we got there I saw Pony and Johnny. Two-bit and I were walking over to them, but I was looking around and I saw a lot of people looking at me. It must be because I'm new. Even the Socs were whispering about me. Two-bit seemed to notice and he leaned near me and whispered "hey, don't talk to any Socs, savvy?" I whispered back "yes"

A few minutes later the bell rang and Pony helped me find my class, I told him "thank you Pony" he smiled at me and said "no problem y/n, good luck with your first day." We smiled at each other for a second and then he walked away. I walked into the classroom. The hole day went by fast, and when school ended, I went to find Two-bit, or anyone from the gang for that matter, but saw no one.

A group of Socs boys started walking over to me, one walked in front of me and smiled "hey, we hear your new around here, what's a girl like you doing hangin' around with those filthy greasers for?" I was trying my best to wait for Two-bit, or Pony, or Johnny. But then one of the Socs started grabbing my arm, but a few feet away I heard a familiar New York accent yell "hey get your filthy hands off her." And Dally came and pushed the Soc away from me. Then me and Dally ran to the Curtis brothers house.

After I regained my breath after the run I said "thank you for helping me back there, but where were the others, and why wasn't my cousin there?" Dally said "Two-bit and the others left early, so he asked me to come walk you home from school Doll." He paused for a moment then continued to say "but maybe we could do something fun." He said with a smirk. I said what do you have in mind, his smirk grew as he said "nothing legal, Doll"

Dally and I went around town having fun, and getting to know each other, soon we entered a bar, he said his friend Buck owned it, and he rented a room upstairs. We sat down and had a few drinks, and before I knew it we were both wasted. And soon enough me and Dally kissed, and kissed again, and then the night became a huge blur.

I woke up in Dally's arms and on a bed the next morning. I sat up in bed and said "oh shit, I missed school." I checked the clock in the room and it said it was one in the afternoon, and my body was really sore, and my memory was starting to come back, I turned to see Dally, who was still in bed, he was sitting up on the bed, and he was smirking and he said "good morning Doll, last night was amazing, come back here, spend a bit more time with me." I wanted to, but Two-bit and my aunt were already going to be mad "I want to, too Dal, but my aunt is already going to be pissed as it is." I said. He smirked and said "alright, but come back later Doll, oh and one more thing." He came up to me and put his necklace around my neck, and kissed me. We said our goodbyes and I started walking home.
