"Celeste's P.O.V"

I waved bye to Keisha while watching her run to Yiran. Pfft, she's obsessed. I'll just sit down while waiting for her to come back. The doors of the auditorium finally opened. I sighed of relief as I walked in. I should've signed up.

I guess it's too late.

"Celeste? You're here so early," I heard a voice behind me. I looked behind and it was Kenji. I smiled as he sat next to me. "Where's Keisha?"

"She's talking to Yiran outside. I was just with Kio at the canteen. We were ordering food," I answered.

"Oh, ok,"

It was silent for a while. We were both busy on our phones, waiting for Kio, Keisha, and Yiran to arrive. I looked at Kenji, who was busy watching TikTok. I couldn't help but notice that he has freckles. That's rare. I smiled at this new information.

"Yah, Kenji, how come I just noticed that you have freckles?" I tilted my head, clearly shocked.

Kenji turned to face me as he took a deep sigh. "Many girls from other classes visit our class just to admire me because of that, yet you just found that out now? Clueless girl,"

"Pfft, I just know you made that whole story up. Who would admire you?" I rolled my eyes at him. He did the same, not admitting about his made-up story.

And now, he's back on his phone. I took a deep breath and checked my notifications. I couldn't help but look at Kenji again. What am I doing?

Woah... His features are very appealing to look at. He's very cute when he's focused.

What, did I just say?

Celeste, snap out of it. You don't actually find him cute, right? I looked at him again without realising. I pushed my head onto the other direction.

Why are you behaving like this? Kenji, is right there. Keisha, save me from this awkwardness. It doesn't feel that awkward though.

It feels, calming...

"Keisha's P.O.V"

I ran back to the entrance to find Celeste, embarrassed, yet I couldn't find her. I looked back and Yiran was following me. Oh no...

"Hey, why'd you run away?" I heard. I knew that he'd catch up to me anyway, so I decreased my speed. He walked up to me and looked down, so he could see me. Am I getting butterflies?

"It was embarrassing, what I did. I didn't want you to seem embarrassed, so I quickly left," I replied shyly.

"That was sweet of you to hug me like that, actually," he chuckled.

What?

There's no way he said that. Am I dreaming?

"I thought you'd be mad at me. I hugged you without your consent," I tilted my head, still processing this.

"Yet you were the only one who has ever hugged me like that," Yiran answered while taking a deep breath, looking at me blankly. He suddenly smiled at me. Gosh, I was so taken aback. "Why would I be mad at a hug? Hugs are meant to be sweet, right? C'mon, let's go inside,"

"Guys wait up," I heard. It was Kio. We all walked inside the auditorium.

"Look at those lovebirds over there," Kio smirked. He was pointing at Celeste and Kenji.

"No because I'm starting to understand why you're shipping them now. Love is real guys," I giggled. We walked up to them, with smirks planted on our faces.

"Hey, we're here," Kio said. I sat down next to Celeste. Yiran was next to me. I'm very euphoric about that. Kio was next to him, of course.

"Everyone, please make your way to the auditorium, as the talent show is about to start," Mrs. Fernandez ordered. Everyone swarmed the auditorium as soon as she said that. Wow, there's so many people watching. What if I don't do well during my performance? I'm sure everyone would start laughing at me. I didn't realise, but I was panting at the situation. I only realised all this was happening when I heard Yiran call my name.
