DAY ONE OF UNDETERMINED TIME

Day 1
I was told to bring three personal items with me here. So, I brought a picture of my family, a pencil, and my journal. I am Prisoner A-21348. And yes, the "A" is for Atlis. We have our own section of the prison filled with former soldiers.
Well, I guess I should introduce myself. I am Gordon Jones. Former Lieutenant in the Next Generation Program. There was 10 of us in the program. It was a group of cryogenic tubes that we were placed in. When we were needed, we were woken.
I don't know how long I'll be in here. I haven't been to court yet. I'll probably get life. I just wish I had someone.
My ex-wife lived in New York City. I had no clue if she was still alive. I don't know if I can make it through this. Years of isolation in space. I... I'm gonna go. See you tomorrow.
