31st July 2015; 12:47 p.m.

Mrs. Weasley greeted them with flour all over her apron. Despite having no family relations with her, she still knit Teddy jumpers every Christmas and treated him like a grandson. "Oh, happy birthday, Harry, dear!" She hugged his godfather. The power of Molly Weasley's hugs should never be underestimated. She barely reached Harry's shoulder with her head, but she squeezed him so hard Teddy could have sworn he saw Harry's eyes almost pop out of his head.

"Thanks, Mrs. Weasley," Harry hugged her back, "thank you for going through all the trouble of throwing me a-"

"Oh, don't be ridiculous!" Mrs. Weasley smoothed Harry's hair and put her hands on his face, "Look at you, dear. 'Seems like yesterday I was helping you onto King's Cross. How are you already thirty five years old? Harry, I'm so proud of you. After all you've been through, you deserve this." Harry kissed Mrs. Weasley's cheek.

"Happy birthday, mate!" Ron called from the kitchen, "Mione's coming with the kids in 15 minutes, Ginny."

"Oh, Ron! He's your best friend, the least you can do is say it to him in person. Get out of the kitchen!" Mrs. Weasley yelled.

"Ron, if you finished all the food in there, I'm going to kick your arse. Your mum made that food for me," Harry called from the living room. Mrs. Weasley clasped her mouth. Ginny smiled, rolled her eyes and muttered "boys" under her breath. Harry ran into the kitchen with Ron [partly to escape Mrs. Weasley's wrath].

"How can they talk like that in front of the children?!" Mrs. Weasley asked shrilly. Teddy and James exchanged a glance.

Mrs. Weasley hadn't really paid attention to the children yet [quite uncommonly]. Teddy, James, Albus, and Lily were standing next to Ginny. "Oh, let me kiss my grandchildren!" Mrs. Weasley bent down to kiss Lily. "You look so pretty in the flowery dress? Where ever did you get it?"

Lily giggled, wiping her cheek, "You got it for me, Nan!"

Mrs. Weasley pretended to act surprised. "Of course! How could I have forgotten?"

"I loooooove it!" Lily twirled.

"Boys?" Mrs. Weasley opened her arms.  Albus and James shuffled forward and kissed both her cheeks. Mrs. Weasley and Teddy made eye contact. "Too cool to kiss your nan?" Teddy loved the Weasleys'. He had no family ties with them, but that didn't stop any of them from accepting him as part of the Weasley clan.

Teddy could easily pick Mrs. Weasley up, with him being so tall and her being so short, but he bent down to kiss her cheek. "Teddy, dear, what is with that hair?" Teddy ran his fingers through his spiky, royal blue hair. "Just make it a normal color, for Merlin's sake," she said with a fake pout, "make it red, you'll look like a Weasley!"

Teddy, like his mother, was a Metamorphagus, which meant he could change his physical appearance at will. He could very easily change his hair, but blue was always his favorite. "I like it," Teddy smirked. Mrs. Weasley, along with many others, didn't approve of his "non-traditional" hair colors; the more reason to keep them!

"Let him," Ginny piped up, "I like it too. 'Reminds me of his mum." Mrs. Weasley sighed with a bit of sad smile. "Alright," she looked toward the kitchen, "go on, go help your godfather and Ron in the kitchen. We need an adult in there..."

"Teddy, duck!"  An egg came flying and crashed into the wall. Harry Potter and Ron Weasley, two legendary, accomplished wizards, were having a food fight.

"Quite the way to spend your first day being thirty-five..."

"Are you saying I'm old, Teddy?" Harry lifted another egg into the air.
