Late night strolls and quick kisses between classes is as as far as Teddy and Victoire have gone with this puzzle they called a relationship. Liam always complains about the apparent "eye sex" Teddy and Victoire have during meals. Well, how could Teddy help it? In these past couple of days, his eyes couldn't help but look at the work of art that was Victoire Weasley as much as he could. Falling in love with her was so easy. Teddy hoped Liam felt this way about Eliza. Teddy hoped everyone felt this way about someone at one point. Maybe it would bring world peace.

Teddy and Victoire were always discreet when they were together. Both of them thought the couples who snogged in front of the entire school were uncomfortable and unnecessary. Besides, they weren't sure if they actually wanted people knowing. Victoire knew her friends had nasty opinions about Teddy. Teddy wasn't sure if he wanted James and knowing he was in love with his cousin or Dominique knowing he was in love with her sister. What would Harry say? His parents? Bill?

The only person besides Liam that knew about him fancying Victoire was Professor Longbottom. Teddy's first class the morning after the night he reconciled with Victoire was herbology. Professor Longbottom was scolding the class on how it was barely the first week of school and one of the pots was already broken. Teddy apologized to Professor Longbottom after class; assuming he or Victoire broke the pot by accident when they rushed down the roof of the greenhouse. Longbottom asked him if he had made up with Victoire. A blushing Teddy nodded yes. "I told you talking to her would work," Longbottom gave Teddy an 'I told you so' look. Teddy wasn't sure if Victoire knew that Longbottom knew, but he caught them practically almost kissing at The Burrow. It hasn't exactly been a secret to him. Most blokes in Teddy's year knew he was with someone due to all the girls not obsessing over Teddy anymore and actually giving the other boys a chance.

Dinner was in a little while, and Teddy wanted to go see Victoire. What did she say her last class was? Perhaps the safest bet was trying to find her around the Ravenclaw common room. Teddy began making his way up the stairs when he saw Scarlet walking away from the Gryffindor common room. He didn't want to be rude and ignore her if she said hello, but he didn't want to get in trouble with Victoire again. Not that Victoire decides who Teddy can and can't see. But still, Teddy began walking a little faster to the Ravenclaw common room.

"Teddy!" Scarlet called. She was inching her way past the second years blocking the passageway.

Teddy stopped in his tracks. To converse, or not to converse? He decided it was best not to make an enemy out of Scarlet. She was a close friend, depending on how close would be defined in this situation.

"Scarlet," Teddy turned around and smiled at her. Surprisingly, Teddy looked at Scarlet and only saw a friend. The once overwhelming desire to shag her in a dark corner until she couldn't walk or talk now seemed to be gone. There didn't seem to be anyone that enchanted him more than Victoire. "Still have a couple lovebites left," Scarlet smirked. Teddy examined her exposed neck and found none; at least of his own work. Then again, Teddy never leaves lovebites on Scarlet's neck.

"Oh. I-er-that's great?" Teddy stammered. "I don't know how to respond to that," he laughed nervously.

Scarlet laughed unenthusiastically. "Well, they'll be gone soon," she made her signature fake pout, "I'll need some new ones."

"Oh."

"Dinner is in fifteen minutes. We can skip. I don't think it has to take that long but-"

"No," Teddy took a deep breath.  "Scarlet, I don't- I don't want to have sex with you."

Scarlet lowered an eyebrow. She opened her mouth as if to say something, then closed it again.
