Teddy couldn't stop thinking about the garden. He wasn't acting like himself. His mind felt...fluffy, and he couldn't seem to wipe that dopey grin off his face. Teddy tried to take his mind off Victoire by practicing Quidditch with Ginny in the Quidditch pitch the Potters' had in their yard. After a while, Harry came out to play for bit. Both Harry and Ginny were amazing Quidditch players. Ginny used to play professionally, and Harry was the youngest seeker of the 20th century [possibly ever]. Since Harry, Teddy was the best player Hogwarts has seen. He's been captain of the Hufflepuff team since 4th year; the youngest captain. He's never lost a game in his life.

James Potter Sr. was watching Teddy play. Even in portrait form, he still acted 21 years old. "Lupin! Continuing the Marauder legacy of k Quidditch players!" James flexed his biceps, "started by me, of course. To think," he mimicked wiping a tear, "three generations of Marauder captains!"

"Yeah," Teddy laughed, "If all goes well with little James, it'll be three generations of Gryffindor Marauder captains."

"I've never seen James play," James Sr. looked hopeful, "do you think he has potential?"

"Absolutely." James had been playing beater since he was seven.

It was hard to believe James Potter was a grandfather. He was always so energetic and youthful. The fact that he and Lily were fucking killed at 21 years old sort of resulted in James staying young forever. James and Lily never saw their son grow up, and neither did Remus and Tonks. "Teddy, ask Sirius for his charm for soundproofing rooms," James winked, "he used it in school all the time."

"I'll try to remember," The Potters' put an empty canvas in every room of the house [with a curtain for privacy]. Portraits of the Marauders, Lily, and Tonks were all made. With the blank canvases, they could visit each room. James's favorite spot was the Quidditch pitch. Dinner was always the greatest because everyone was all together; like the way it should be.

A baby Teddy Lupin was clutched in his mother's arms. His father looked very tired and worried. "Mum's house is not very far; I promise," his mother was telling her husband.

"Dora, we have to get to Hogwarts; now."

"Alright, alright," his mother nodded, "we're here." They were standing at the front door of a cottage. A tall, elegant woman with a streak of grey hair answered the door. She smiled warmly at the little blanket bundle in her daughter's arms. "Teddy? He's so big! Oh come here with your nan!" she reached out to carry him. Teddy wanted his parents. He began to cry.

"We promise you'll be safe here," his father said."We promise your grandmother will take great care of you. Once we go help your Godfather Harry, we'll come back."

"Come in, come in!" The woman said in a hushed voice. She opened the door into the living room of the house, "take whatever you need."

"Thank you so much," his father was trying hard to keep a calm tone of voice, "Dora and I really appreciate this."

The woman conjured a baby bottle from thin air, "Oh, Remus don't be ridiculous; Teddy is my grandson!"

"Mum, can Teddy get an extra blanket?"

"Of course. Wait here with the baby while I run upstairs to fetch it," the woman walked away. His parents stood in front of the crib the woman provided for Teddy. "I don't want to leave him," his mother's voice shook.

"We can't take him to Hogwarts with us," his father replied.

"I know, I know," his mother sniffed, "I know. I'm sorry, I know we have to go help Harry." She reached into her shirt collar and pulled out a necklace. She put it around Teddy's neck.
