      "STAY DOWN!"

There's nothing Kirra loved more than sword-to-sword combat. That's why she loved Capture the Flag so much. Other than at practice, this was one of the only times a year when she got to do it.

After the first conch, the blue team found a decent spot for their flag. But, not long after, a few people on the opposing team had found them. Kirra was fighting some girl who looked to be twice her age -- and somehow still managed to lose to a 12-year-old girl.

Kirra laughed, as she successfully knocked the girl off her feet. Kirra smiled down at her, as she held her sword up to the girl's neck. "Stay down!" Kirra yelled, to which the girl held her hands up.

"We give up," The girl said.

"Good choice," Kirra laughed, twisting her sword in her hand before hitting it. And when it turned back into a bracelet, she slid it back on her wrist. Kirra sighed happily as she watched the red team start to walk away.

Kirra looked over her shoulder, seeing Chris on the floor. Kirra and Luke made their way over to him, grabbing each of his hands and pulling him off the ground. "Good job, Chris," Kirra spoke sarcastically, to which Chris rolled his eyes.

"I wanna move quick, straight through the woods to their flag," Luke said, and Kirra nodded her head in agreement

"Clarisse hunts in those woods for the first few hours, you know that," Chris furrowed his brows. "She's gonna cut us down," he finished.

"No, Annabeth has a plan -- Percy's on it," Kirra said, smiling up at Chris, before looking at Luke.

Chris looked at the two as if a way of silently saying, 'Are you kidding?'

"When it's time, he's gonna be ready. I know it," Luke said before he looked down at Kirra.

"And if not, we've got her," he finished, looking back up at Chris as he pointed to Kirra.

"Okay, here's the plan. You guys stay over here for, like, 5 more minutes. I'll go into the woods, if I find Clarisse and her minions, I'll take care of them. You guys should be able to run past and get the flag," Kirra spoke, looking up at the two taller boys.

"Got it?"

"Yup," Luke said, nodding his head. Chris still looked skeptical, but he nodded his head as well.

"See you guys on the other side," Kirra smiled, as she walked down the path she knew Clarisse kept closed for the majority of the game.

      "THREE AGAINST ONE? REAL
CLASSY CLARISSE!"

Kirra walked down the path for some time and quickly grew bored without a sign of Clarisse. So, she decided to take a small detour and walk down by the beach -- where she was certain Luke would be running down with the red team's flag any minute now.

But, as she walked down the hill, she heard what sounded like fighting next to the water. Kirra was curious, so she decided to follow the noise, but when she saw Clarisse and her minions practically jumping Percy -- she didn't think twice before running over to them.
