      "LOOK, I'M NOT AGAINST THE
IDEA OF CONSENSUS,"

      Annabeth went inside the gas station, leaving Grover, Percy, and Kirra to talk among themselves. Kirra had an off feeling since the group left Camp Half-Blood --  more specifically since she snapped at Percy. She thought the two had begun becoming friends, and now she thought she ruined everything.

     "Look, I'm not against the idea of consensus. I'm just not sure the song is doing what you think it is, is all," Percy said, making Kirra look over at the two.

      "For the record, I am totally against the idea of consensus," Kirra said with a smile, making Percy laugh. 

      "Kirra, you are against any fun idea," Grover rolled his eyes. But -- before anything else was said, a very scared Annabeth Chase came running down the bus aisle.

      "You guys need to open that window, now!" Annabeth called out to Kirra, Percy, and Grover.

      The trio looked around confused, before they saw Alecto enter the bus slowly.

      Kirra jumped up first, followed by Percy and Grover seconds later. "It's not opening!" Kirra yelled. She, Percy, and Grover pushed as hard as they could against the window, but it wouldn't bust.

      Until, Kirra pushed as hard as she could -- making the whole glass frame fall out of the bus, making the alarms go off. Percy looked at her as if she were a superhero, as she smiled over at him.

      "Everyone, leave your belongings and exit the front of the bus," The bus driver spoke over the intercom. Kirra looked back, seeing Alecto being blocked by all the people trying to get off the bus. 

      "Annabeth, Kirra, let's go," Percy said. And as they turned around to leave another Fury flew through the open window -- making Percy, Kirra, and Grover duck as it flew over them. Annabeth threw her sword at it, killing it instantly. 

      "Nice throw," Kirra laughed, as she helped Grover jump out of the bus.

      "Thanks," Annabeth smiled -- before looking over at Percy. 

      "We're done here. Let's go," Annabeth said, as Kirra grabbed her by the arm, helping her get off the bus.

      "Come on," Kirra said, holding out her hand. Percy looked back at her, grabbing Luke's shoes. He grabbed her arm and jumped out of the bus -- and Kirra quickly followed him. The squad then ran into the nearby trees to lose Alecto, and whatever else was following them.

"SOMEWHERE UP AHEAD, THIS TURNS INTO A SAYTER PATH,"

      The four kids had been walking deeper into the woods by the second. They found a path and started following it, in hopes it would lead them somewhere safe and away from monsters -- which seemed impossible, as they have two forbidden children with them.

      "Somewhere up ahead, this turns into a sayter path," Grover pointed out, walking down the dirt path.

      "What a sayter path?" Percy furrowed, looking over at Grover.
