By the next morning, Alvena was happily strutting down the always surrounding the courtyard. Head in the cloud, not paying attention to the world around her until she collided head first in the hard chest of Harry Potter. "Oh! Sorry there! I wasn't looking in front of me!" She apologized with a kind laugh. The boy only smiled at her, reaching down to pick the books she had dropped, "no worries, Blythe." Alvena quirked an eyebrow once she saw his figure get back up, his eyes sunken in and his skin paler than usual. "Are you quite alright? You look dreadful." "Let's just say the first task is harder than I enticipated..." The dark haired girl furrowed her brows at his answer, "really? It can't be that bad, can it?" "Well I do think Dragon are pretty bad," he replied in a snap to wish she just chuckled as if the task was just an everyday class they had. "Come on Potter, you're the chosen one, no matter what you always find a way out of any situation!" She playfully smiled at him in a somewhat comforting way. "Thanks. Oh! By the way, I wanted to apologize for last night," the scarred boy let his eyes fall to the ground guiltily. "It wasn't my place to ask you something like that... I'm sorry." He didn't look back up until a hand placed itself on his shoulder, Alvena hand. His head shot up to see her broad smile and kind eyes. "Don't worry about it, you're not the first one to ask!" She waved him off. The couple of student moved out of the hallway towards the courtyard only to be stopped by some Hufflepuff students brandishing their new 'Cedric Rules!' And 'Potter Stinks!' badges. "Like the badge?" On of the boy giggled at Harry but immediately stopped once his eyes crossed the death glare of Alvena Blythe's scarlet hues. Harry pushed his way through to finally enter the courtyard, followed closely by the Slytherin girl. She followed him as he made his way to a joyful Cedric Diggory, standing around his friends who couldn't help but hurl more insults towards the boy who lived. "Can I have a word?" Harry asked the Hufflepuff champion, ignoring the others' comments. Cedric nodded distancing himself from the ground and to a quieter corner of the green space. "Dragons," the black haired boy said earning a confused look from the dark red haired one. "That's the first task, they've got one for each of us." "Are you serious?" The other champion asked, rightfully shocked. "Fleur and Krum, do they..?" "Yes." "Right." The tension grew more and more awkward. Alvena tried her best to keep her eyes away from them as she stood next to Harry. She could see Cedric glancing her way from time to time, most likely confused as to why she was near who he assumed to be her enemy. "Hey listen, about the badges, I've asked them not to wear them." The pretty boy defended to no avail. Harry simply nodded before walking away, leaving Alvena to roll her eyes at Cedric pitty excuse of a lie. She noticed as Ron and Seamus, two Griffindor she more likely despised, approached the courtyard leading Harry to rush over to them and scream some word she couldn't quite hear. She didn't pay much attention to their argument until a separate voice called for it. "Why so tense Potter?" Draco's voice rang through her ear as she turned around to see him jump down the courtyard's tree. She quickly rushed over to Harry as he now stood neck to neck with Draco, catching the eyes of everyone around. "My father and I have a bet, you see. I don't think you're gonna last ten minutes in this tournament. He disagrees. He thinks you won't last FIVE." The blond boy teased. "You have guts to say that Malfoy, considering you're too much of a scaredy cat to even participate in the tournament yourself!" Alvena defended moving into Draco face as she pushed Harry behind her. She kept her eyes off the boy she knew well, watching as his jaw slightly clenched. Their noses were practically touching from the close proximity they had. For a slight moment she watched as his eyes fell down to the bottom of her face, towards her lips, plundering there for a few seconds before quickly going back to her deep red eyes. "You shouldn't be hanging around, you should even be standing near him. Your parents wouldn't want that," he whisper yelled to her. Before she could retire with anything, Harry cut the tension yelling : "I don't give a damn what you or your father thinks, Malfoy. He vile and cruel and you're just pathetic." The green eyed boy grasped onto Alvena's hand pulling her away and back towards the hallway. Before they could make it tho, the voice of one of their teacher forced them to look back. "I'll teach you to cast when someone's back is turned!" Mad-eye yelled, pointing his dark wand at Draco. In the fraction of a second the Slytherin boy was turned into a Snow White ferret, running around the yard, trying to escape the mad professor. "Professor Moody, what are you doing?" McGonagall appeared, yelling at her colleague who only replied that he was 'teaching', shocking her greatly. "Is that a student?" "Technically it's a ferret." He smirked. In the middle of it all, Alvena couldn't help but let out a few giggles at the scene, catching the eyes of a few students. No one had ever seen her life in her four years at Hogwarts, yet when she did she seemed to catch all the attention. Embarrassed she quickly stopped her fit, covering her reddening cheeks with the sleeves of her robes before hurrying away towards the Slytherin common rooms. She hurried down the stone stairs towards the dungeon until she finally reached the green and silver room she knew well. A smile broke on her feature once she saw her group of friends lazily spread around the couches in front of the fireplace. She made her way towards them, catching the eyes of Theo which only made her smile grow wider. The boy grasped her arm, pulling her over under she fell onto his laps. He placed a soft peck on her cheek before turning back to the groups who only looked at them with wide eyes. Alvena motioned to Stormy and Sage that she would tell them later before moving over to sit on the couch normally. Theo quickly excused himself, saying he needed to go work on a group project in the library which seemed suspicious for a low grade guy but still plausible. The group waved him off before Stormy and Sage rushed over to Alvena and pulled her towards their own dorm, leaving Mattheo and Blaise behind. The girls talked until the late hours of the night, where Alvena fell asleep on one of their bed and ended up spending the night.
