Chapter 6: Friends to Lovers to Enemies to Friends?
"You're still an idiot, Sebastian."
"I didn't mean to..."
"Hunny, please. Blaming isn't helping."
Lucy can hear them speaking, but she could not get herself to open her eyes, squint as she might. It seemed that her mind had regained consciousness, her body had yet to follow, however.
She felt her body cradled upon somebody's lap—her face snuggled against the person's chest. It smelled like peppermint—a smell too strong for her senses, way back. She recalled how it would forcefully pierce its way like a cold and sharp blade—through her nose, up to her eyes, and into her brain. Soon, she would find herself tearing up or sneezing after being exposed for long—and at times, she would suffer from a headache.
Until, after getting used to it, the smell of Peppermint started to soothe every fiber of her body—just like how the person with the scent never fail to be soothing, as well. Up to this day, she always made sure she had a small bottle of its essence in case of nausea or anxiety.
She discreetly snuggled deeper to take more in.
A large palm had been caressing one side of her cheek and she could feel a minty breath close to her face. Could this person be staring down at her?
Her body and mind seemed inoperative to help her recognize the voices—or the familiar human pillow. However, there were two words that had been floating in her hazy thoughts before she drifted back to slumber: 'home' and 'safe.'

When she woke up once again, she was no longer in the arms of someone like she had last remembered. Instead, she found herself lying on the couch with a throw blanket draped over her and a cushion pillow beneath her head.
'Was it only a dream—? I mean why would he....?' she asked as soon as she finally had an inkling of who it had been.
Even in her unconscious state he was all she could find comfort in.
—She felt pathetic.
Standing across the opposite end with her back turned from her, was Anne, resuming the dinner Lucy should have been assigned to. Sebastian and Ominis, on the other hand, were at the dining table. The brunet kept himself busy with eating grapes, while Ominis was reading a parchment with braille.
The second floor was furnished with shabby chic style interiors—in colors white, brown and pastel green.
'Nobody would doubt that Slytherins lived here,' they remark every time.
They continued conversing to themselves, unaware that Lucy had woken up and had been watching their every move.
"So, that holiday during the final Hogwarts term... It wasn't just to care for Anne, huh?" Sebastian taunted.
"Oh please, Sebastian. Like you would want to hear how Eli was conceived," came the blond man's response.
Sebastian's face scrunched in disgust and threw a piece of grape towards Ominis, hitting the latter on his shoulder. "Piss off, Ominis. Spare me the details."
