Beomgyu realises how his eyes are wandering in the crowd, searching for a certain blonde hair boy instead of treating the groupies that are circling and fangirling over him. He takes a deep breath and walks away from the crowd, eyes still searching for the younger until he's come to a conclusion that Taehyun's probably back in his room.
So that's what his subconscious does to him, taking control of his entire body as he lets his legs move on their own, entering the dorms and walking down the hallways until he reaches Taehyun's room.
'Gosh, I look like a lovesick puppy indeed.' Beomgyu reels himself before knocking on the door and hearing Taehyun's voice from the other side telling him to come in.
As Beomgyu walks in, Taehyun had just put on a lilac shirt, paired with shorts. His hair is damp and he has a towel over his shoulder, indicating that he had just taken a shower. Nevertheless, Beomgyu's still in awe as he takes in the younger's bare face.
This boy never fails to impress him even more and if he hasn't mentioned before, well, he doesn't have to because he's sure everyone and literally everyone including himself can tell how hard he's falling for Taehyun as days goes by.
To think that Beomgyu once believed that love at first sight doesn't exist. Well, Taehyun made him take back his words.
"Beomgyu-hyung?" Taehyun asks.
"I was looking for you at the crowd just now. You didn't tell me you left." Beomgyu says, looking quite sad, twisting a type of guilt in Taehyun.
"Sorry, hyung, I had to run some errands-"
'More like catch a goddamn hitman before he harms you.' Taehyun thinks.
"Did I worry you?" Taehyun asks.
Beomgyu approaches Taehyun closer, taking in the fresh scent of vanilla and peaches the younger exudes. He takes the younger's hand in his, clasping it between his palms.
"Well, I found you and you're safe. That's all that matters." Beomgyu says. "Anyways, I wanted to congratulate you for the game tonight. You were amazing as always."
Taehyun blushes at the compliment. "Geez hyung, you're embarrassing me."
Beomgyu chuckles.
"Aren't you going to the after party?" Taehyun asks.
"Well, are you going?" Beomgyu asks back.
Taehyun shakes his head. "I'm actually beat. I might rest up for now, I even have classes tomorrow."
"If that's the case, then I won't go."
"But you're the captain, hyung."
"The party won't be fun without you." Beomgyu glances at the wall clock.
"You shouldn't stop yourself from enjoying it because of me." Taehyun says, looking down at his feet.
"Then-" Beomgyu steps closer to Taehyun and tilts the younger's chin with his index finger, his eyes meeting Taehyun's.
Taehyun sweats he could feel the electricity flow from the touch of Beomgyu's finger at his chin, down to his spine.
"Would you like to go out for another date with me tomorrow?" Beomgyu asks.
Taehyun sucks his cheeks at the sudden question, restraining his cheeks from turning redder than it already is.
"Sure, hyung."
Beomgyu smiles. "Gosh, I almost got a heart attack." He says, chuckling.
"You've asked me out before, hyung. And I'm sure it's not the first time you've ever asked someone out." Taehyun says, rolling his eyes.
