"Gojo, stop!" I lunge forward, gripping Gojo's arm tightly, my voice cutting through the tension like a razor.

As I pull him away from the stranger, I realize that I forgot to ask for the man's name.

Gojo freezes for a moment, his surprise evident in his wide eyes. It's as if my words have momentarily tethered him to obedience again.

With a swift motion, he releases his hold on the man's collar, allowing me to easily push him away.

"Are you okay?" I ask the guy urgently.

He coughs and nods weakly."Y-yeah, I expected this much," he replies with a shaky chuckle.

Though I don't quite understand his meaning, I'm relieved that he seems unharmed.

Turning my attention to Gojo, I shoot him a stern glare.

"Why did you do that?"

Gojo appears unsure, his gaze dropping to the ground.

"I-I thought he was harassing you. I-I saw him kiss you," he stammered out.

I sigh inwardly, summoning a smile to my lips.

"W-well, it's normal, right? H-he's my boyfriend, after all."

It feels like a heavy weight of lies, but it's the only excuse I can come up with on the spot.

Even the guy looks surprised at my declaration. I shoot him a quick glance, silently urging him to play along.

"What? B-boyfriend?"

Gojo's voice is filled with disbelief.

The guy stands up and wraps his arms around my waist, smoothly joining in the charade.

"Y-yeah, I'm her boyfriend. I'm Aoi, nice to meet you," he says with a smile, his acting surprisingly convincing.

"B-boyfriend..." Gojo's voice trails off, his disbelief still evident.

As we all settle into the car and drive to our next destination, Gojo remains unusually quiet in the passenger seat, his thoughts seemingly consumed by the revelation.

He's like a broken robot, lost in his own world. I decide to ignore him for the time being, uncertain of what's happening to him.

However, Aoi seems to have an idea.

I lean in to whisper to him about Gojo's strange behavior, and he chuckles softly in response, giving me a playful wink.

"This is going to be fun," he murmurs, his eyes gleaming with mischief.

"Asami-chan," Aoi's voice resonates in my mind, his use of telepathy catching me off guard.

I turn to meet his gaze, realizing he doesn't want anyone else to overhear our conversation.

"What?" I reply back using telepathy, keeping our exchange private.

"I have to go. My time in this world is limited. Unlike you, I have restrictions," he explains, leaning his head against my shoulder.

I notice Gojo shooting us a displeased look from the corner of my eye.

"When will I see you again?" I ask softly.

"Soon," he murmurs, nuzzling his face near my neck.

I can't help but chuckle at the gesture, reminded of how my pet dog back in the real world used to behave.

Suddenly, the atmosphere in the car feels heavier.

"Looks like someone is jealous," Aoi's voice echoes in my mind, still using telepathy.

"Jealous? Who's jealous?" I ask, puzzled by his remark.

Aoi just smirks and suddenly plants a kiss on my neck, catching me off guard.

The car abruptly comes to a halt.

I see Ijichi's surprised expression in the rearview mirror as he glances at Gojo, who looks even more displeased than before.

Gojo clicks his tongue in annoyance and swings open the passenger door.

"G-gojo-san, where are you going?" Ijichi asks, concern lacing his voice.

"Somewhere!" Gojo snaps irritably, his tone laced with annoyance as he steps out of the car and disappears without another word, leaving Ijichi and me baffled by his abrupt exit.

Ijichi sighs, glancing at me.

"Where do you want to go, Asami-san?"

"To my house, I'm tired," I reply wearily.

A few hours later, the car comes to a stop in front of my house.

I bid farewell to Ijichi as he drives away.

"Goodbye as well, Kira," Aoi says, and I nod in understanding.

"I hope to see you soon," I say earnestly.

"Why?" Aoi's mischievous smirk widens. "Nervous about Gojo? I'm sure he'll wonder where your 'boyfriend' is."

"Ugh, shut up. It's your fault anyway. You kissed me out of nowhere! What should I tell him to calm him down?!" I retort, frustration seeping into my voice.

Aoi bursts into laughter, ruffling my hair.

"See you later, my 'girlfriend'," he teases, planting a kiss on my cheek before vanishing.

"Why you-" I start to protest, but he disappears before I can finish my sentence.

With a defeated sigh, I enter my house, feeling utterly exhausted from the events of the day.
