There is a soft knock on his door.
Chay grumbles under his breath.
He already knows who is behind the door. The man already messaged him, one that was so obvious it was him even when the number was new.
Yeah, he still blocked the old one.
'Get ready'. That's it. No prologue. Straight to the point. He wonders how this guy is able to write some of the songs that become Chay's lifetime favorite.
Chay wanted to pick an ugly kind of clothing, but then he remembered that Kim looked fine even with the most basic clothes. He will look like a dustbin beside him. He changed his mind to basic.
Basic is good enough. Just a simple white tee, coupled with a light blue denim shirt and jeans. He wears a leather and silver bracelet that his brother gave him. He wants to wear a watch but decides not to.
That's right. This is not a date. He doesn't need to go fancy.
Chay looks at himself in the mirror for the last time. He can't do anything about his wavy hair, but he looks good enough. Not too shabby and looks like a charity case to be by Kim's side.
He prolongs his time to wear shoes. He doesn't want to go, but he has to as he needs the equipment. No one seems able to go with him or buy him those things. All requests fall on deaf ears.
Chay is so sure there is a conspiracy behind it.
So, with dreaded steps, he opens the door and finds Kim leaning on the wall opposite it. Kim doesn't say anything about how he looks, he only takes a slow gaze up and down his body. Too slow. Chay feels it caresses his skin.
He abruptly walks ahead of Kim, doesn't care if he follows or not. There's a soft click behind and the sound of the alarm on his door activated, Kim closing his door.
Chay curses himself inside of his head. That's ok. It's better than being an over-ripped tomato under Kim's eyes.
He punches the elevator button with great annoyance. He knows that Kim is already behind him although the guy doesn't create any sound. In the past, that should have alarmed him. What kind of ordinary guy has a ninja walk? But no... Chay was too in love to see past the rose-colored glass.
Kim goes past him again in the elevator. For some weird reason, he likes to stand behind him. Kim moves forward to punch the number, and his hand moves passed Chay's body. Chay can hear his subtle breathing.
Chay's eyes shut hard as his body trembles at the proximity.
He curses Kim and his effect on his body!
The road to the bottom seems slower. By the time the door dings and opens, Chay bolts to the front door, leaving Kim who is smiling as he watches him.
Chay expects to find a car waiting, but in front of the door, there is only a black Ducati bike.
He's going to ride THAT with HIM???
Kim passes a helmet before Chay can even squeak a protest, and hops on the bike. He is waiting patiently as Chay stares at the bike and him repeatedly before begrudgingly puts on his helmet and gets on.
There is not much room so their body is really pressed together, Chay's thighs are between Kim's body.
"Hold on," Kim says, not moving even after he starts the bike. Chay's head is in a battling mode.
How to hold on to him, exactly?
Wrapping both of his arms on the waist?
Gripping the side of the jacket?
