It's been five days now. Kim sits in an uncomfortable chair near the bed where Porchay lies. His eyes, stuck to his boyfriend, have been unmovable for some time now. Nothing can get his attention. Not work, not food, not people, nothing. He doesn't even drink if it's not handed to him. He rarely left his spot, except for trips to the bathroom or doctor calls.

Kinn resorted to ordering a nurse to stick a needle in his vein and give him an IV. Kim didn't even put up a fight.

The room is big but there is always a stifle of tears in it, whether it's Porsche, Macau, Pete, or Khun. But Kim doesn't. He knows for certain Chay will wake up and be alright. Chay won't leave him like that. So he stays by his side and waits.

The doctor said there was nothing wrong with Chay except for the high fever now and then. It's something psychological and there is nothing that they can do. There is a drug that can force him to wake up. It's expensive, but nothing beyond the family's money can't buy. By day 3, Porsche was tempted to use it and Kinn, of course, gave him a green light. But then the doctor explained that the drug would possibly harm Chay's body, particularly in his brain or heart, and Kim voted against it. But surprisingly it wasn't Kim that Porsche had to wrestle.

"No. Over my dead body, Porsche!" he shouts.

"He is my brother. There is nothing you can do legally. I'm the one who has a say regarding his well-being," Porsche sounds just equally heated. Kinn massaged his temple in the background.

"If you insist, I'll kill every medical staff that dares to inject him with anything!" Kim threatened.

"I vote against it too," Vegas said, Pete nodded beside him. "It can be harmful to him. We better wait."

"And who are you that you can even think you have the right over my brother?"

Vegas pushed his body from the wall, while his face gave a lethal expression. "So, we're going to resort to that, are we? I may not be his brother by blood, but he is my brother. It's me and Pete who picked up his tiny pieces of heart that you guys blew, including you, Kim. Don't talk about being a brother, asshole, when you are too busy playing house with your lover to take care of him!"

Porsche's jaw ticked. "I'm busy cleaning up the mess of your father, in case you forgot!"

Vegas gave him an unamused laugh. "Ever heard of delegation, asshole? Just one time a month. If Kim can do it two times a month from whatever hellhole he was living then, you certainly can."

Porsche and Kinn were shocked, but only them. Judging by Khun's expression he already knew from Pete, the one he had been stealing glances with.

"You visited my brother?" Porsche shouted as pointed a finger.

Kim shrugged. "At least I made an effort to see him."

Porsche silently nods. "I see. You guys are making me the bad guy out of this."

"Just admit you break his heart, Porsche. Maybe even more than Kim," Pete gave his piece of mind. "Admitting is the first step. Then you can move on and be better for Chay."

Porsche gave him the look of a broken man to Pete. "You too, huh?"

"I'm not blaming you. We're not blaming you."

"Speak for yourself," Vegas intervened and got slapped hard in the stomach by Pete.

"One of the reasons that I insist on looking after Chay is to lessen your burden," his best friend continued.

"You were not telling me anything, Pete! If you were ..."

"We tried, Porsche," Pete raised his voice for the first time, "Multiple times. You never had time. You can't even call your brother for more than a minute, let alone us. Now, I understand you were very busy and things were frustrating for you, but you can't blame us for that."
