So I decided not to make this book take a darker and longer route.
Why?
Because I have religiously been reading ABO stories and am intrigued to make one myself. Not that I am any good at it, but simply because I want to try, hahaha.
This was one of the reasons why I haven't had a new chapter of Midnight. I've been cheating on it with the possibility of this new story I had in my mind.
I won't put it up until Midnight passed 2/3 of its story, though. But this is an example of what I wrote.
***
The truck stopped at the end of the building and Porchay jumped to get out. "Chay, you need to unload the eggs first," his brother commanded and Chay nodded. He diligently brought the egg packages inside the huge storage building and stopped at each turn for a standard search by the men in suits.
Sometimes Chay forgot that this was actually a house, where actual people lived, by the size of it. It was built closer to a hotel than that of a house. The owner was dipping their feet in hotels and resort chains, yes. But they were so much more than that, according to Porsche.
All these men in suits they called bodyguards also meant they were ones not to be messed with. Porsche always lectured him not to be close with ANYONE that had ties with this family, The Theerapanyakuls. Porchay being an omega was another reason Porsche was reluctant to bring Chay to this building full of alphas.
They had this job, supplying food and beverages to Theerapanyakuls, for years. Ever since Porsche and Porchay's parents were still alive. They gave them the best fee for their service and silence. Nothing happened or did NOT happen in Theerapanyakuls' estate. Just get in and get out. You were deaf, blind, and mute when it came to them. Duck your head, and limit eye contact.
Porsche also had to report any potential new employee to them for a background check. That was why he was only comfortable bringing Jom and Tem to help out when they had to make deliveries here and rarely accepted employees that he hadn't personally known for years. Breaking their deal with The Theerapanyakuls meant going broke and he couldn't risk that.
"Chay, long time no see you, young man. How old are you now?" a voice that both sounded respectable and authoritative called for his name and he stopped and then snapped his head to meet the man automatically. A usual response for an omega, or anybody really, to a dominant alpha. The owner, looking handsome in a grey and red suit, smiled.
Khun Kinn, The King of this kingdom as his father had resigned and chosen to live in Europe, was as friendly as always with him, far from the frightening tales everybody and their mothers told. Chay responded with a smile too. "21, Khun."
"Oh, really? Have you graduated, Chay?" He nodded again. "Do you want to apply to our companies? Kim is looking for a new second secretary. You won't do much, just filing and stuff. How about it? I'll put in a good word if you do."
Chay looked at his brother who grew worried by the second. "Khun Kinn, you don't have to. Chay just graduated and wants to take a break first," Porsche spoke on behalf of Chay. Kinn looked at him with discrete squinted eyes. His lips ghostly smiled.
Porsche didn't know why he always came down to meet him every time he made a delivery this past year. He counted it was started not long after Kinn took the throne to this empire two years ago.
"You want to travel, Chay?" Kinn dismissed Porsche, but only took his eyes from him for seconds.
Chay was in a dilemma. He wasn't used to lying and he knew Kinn would easily find out. He coughed and replied with, "If I have enough money, Khun Kinn."
