ADITYA

"File a defamation case against everyone who wrote bad about her online," I ordered Rishi, my tone firm and unwavering.

"But sir, there are thousands of such comments," he replied, a hint of hesitation in his voice.

"Since when did you start questioning my orders? I don't care whether it's thousands or lakhs of such comments. Find information about every single one and file the case," I sneered at him. I had no intention of letting anyone get away with tarnishing Tara's reputation. They needed to learn that there were consequences for their actions.

"Sir, Mr. Arjun Sharma wants to meet you," he informed me, breaking the tense atmosphere.

"Arjun Sharma? CEO of The Mirage Architects? Why does he want to meet me?" I asked, surprised by the unexpected request.

"I don't know, sir. It was a sudden request from his assistant. He will be here soon," Rishi continued, his expression reflecting the same curiosity I felt.

Arjun Sharma was a businessman I held in high regard. He was self-made and his success story was nothing short of inspiring. His dedication and hard work had transformed his father's bankrupt company into a powerhouse in the industry. Our brief interaction at a business party had left a positive impression on me, and I admired his work ethic and business philosophies.

"Mr. Sharma, to what do I owe this unexpected visit?" I inquired, my tone as icy as the air conditioning in my office.

"I'll get straight to the point. Stay away from my sister," he stated firmly, his words carrying the weight of an ultimatum.

"Excuse me?" I snapped back, my voice sharp and cutting.

"I don't care about what's going on between you two. Just keep your distance from Tara," he reiterated, his expression steely and unwavering.

"Tara? she's your sister? I wasn't aware she had a brother," I remarked, my surprise tinged with suspicion.

"Yes, I'm her brother. And I won't hesitate to protect her at any cost, so stay away from her." he warned, his tone dripping with menace.

"Bold of you to assume I would say yes to something like that. Staying away from her is not an option for me. You underestimate the lengths I'll go to for her," I declared, my resolve unyielding.

"Touch her, and you'll exactly know what's worse than death," he declared, his voice resonating with authority.

"Don't attempt to intimidate me in my own office. Your threats hold no power over me. What I desire, I will obtain," I countered, my demeanor unwavering.

"Then be ready to face the consequences," he warned, his gaze piercing and unrelenting.

"She is a risk worth taking, and I'm sure she will be the greatest reward, but one thing I can assure you is that I'll never fake anything with her" I assured him, my words laced with confidence.

"Your track record doesn't inspire confidence, Mr. Chauhan. I won't tolerate seeing tears in her eyes, and if you're the cause of them, I'll make sure you pay for it." he continued, his tone filled with conviction.

"Trust me, if I ever become the reason for her tears, you don't even have to do anything and I'll kill myself," I vowed.

"Trust is the last thing I have for you when it comes to my sister," he concluded before leaving.

TARA

"Nanu, come on, take a seat quickly. It's your turn now," I insisted, gesturing to the chair.
