My alarm clock blared beside me signaling it was 2:oo. I slowly crawled out of bed and squeezed the bear again to replay the message. Looking through my clothes I had in my suitcase, I picked out a t-shirt and my favorite jeans along with my high top converse. As soon as I walked into the bathroom the "manly" smell that Mitchelle had mentioned hit me. I think that's the only way you could explain the smell. It was a mixture of his shampoo and his cologne that I noticed sitting on the counter. I had a pretty nice bathroom despite being in a hospital. There was a counter about 3 feet long which had many of Mitchelle's products on it. He had his cologne along with the gel I saw him with when I first met him, and a razor and shaving cream. Surprisingly, it wasn't spread out on the corner it was in a little corner with a note that said sorry for the mess. I got into the shower and tried to clean myself up the best I could since I had been, well, homeless for about 4 weeks. By the time I was done getting ready I looked into the mirror and tried to make my appearance better. I wasn't that pretty for a girl. I had a boyish frame with small bones, little to no muscle definition, super pale skin, and hazel eyes. Just as the self hate started to delve into my brain, Mitchelle walked in. He looked like when we first met. His dark hair was gelled up and he was wearing his suit and tie.

"Wow." he looked me up and down and then looked into my eyes

"What? Do I look bad?" I asked nervously looking down at my shoes

"No no definitely not. You look great." He smiled and wrapped me in a hug

"So, where are we going?"

"You'll see c'mon."

"Ugh I hate surprises." I mumbled as he dragged me out of the building

We pulled into the parking lot of what looked like a place in horror movies where they get murdered.

"So what are you gonna kill me now?"

He grabbed my hand and led me into the building where I was struck with the familiar, but distant smell of pepperoni pizza.

"I wanted to apologize for earlier when I was yelling and being so overprotective. When you were asleep you were mumbling about pizza so after the meeting with your dad I decided to drive around and find a good pizza place. I hope that this is okay." He sat down at a booth and smiled slightly

I got close to him and hugged him tight, "Thank you, this is the first time I've felt loved in a long long time.
