Germany looked up softly, he waved a small goodbye to his father, as he had to unfortunately leave the house today to go get some things.

Germany, though he usually wasn't, was ecstatic for his father to leave.

Today he was going to do it, today he was going to leave this property, whether his father wanted him to or not. Whether his mind told him it was a good idea or not.

His only real worry was to either be caught by his father, or to not make it back home. But besides that, he thought he would be fine. Why wouldn't he be?

The German hummed as he grabbed his bag from his bed, he had been preparing for this for as long as he could remember now.

Weeks of preparations for a single day. And he had everything he could ever need for it.

Germany really thought he had it all covered and planned for. He really did think so as he ran through the house, until he reached the back door.

He opened it quietly, almost like his father would pop up and spook him back him side if he was too loud.

But the coast was clear, and Germany was ready to step outside.

He scurried his was over to the gate, he wished that he had a coat like his father's, but he didn't unfortunately.

The German was surprisingly quick to open the little thing, and to close it. But he paused once he did.

He was outside now. The German's mind crackled as he looked around himself. He was here, in this new territory. He didn't even think, he just went for it.

The grass was soft beneath him, and he couldn't help but stare at it. This place was overgrown, unkept, untouched by human life.

The German looked at the gate for a moment, he stared at the closed door before turning away from it.

He didn't have much time. Germany thought, as he looked back at the now closed fence gate. He needed to get moving now, if he wanted to get anywhere far.

Quickly the German skipped, hopping around the place as he went.

He was smart about this. He didn't want to get lost wherever he was. So he left little stones behind him. Little stacks of things to point him into the right direction.

Germany was smiling to himself the whole way. He felt charmed by the world around him. All the green scenery. Though it was especially wet today, it was fine for him.

Eventually he met a little river, and simply passed through it as it wasn't that deep.

Germany had been traveling for a good while now, and couldn't help but wonder if he had possibly packed too much for this journey.

The air was hot and moist. He was feeling the overwhelming heat seep through him. Maybe he should've packed lighter, he would remember that for next time. The German hummed at that. He liked the idea of coming out here again.

Though he enjoyed the forest and all the wonderful life it had. As it was quite fun to find frogs and snap at little bugs. He had some jars with him to place the bugs in. He had really come prepared for his little adventure.

But Germany was looking for something else. He was looking to go deeper into the real world. Not just the forest's life, but human life as well.

The German sighed tiredly, as he continued his way through trees, muddy grounds, and dirt. Ironically he liked this little hike. He enjoyed these hills, and this land that went on for what seemed to be forever. though what excited him the most was the mountains he could see.
