Chapter 3

SOUTH KOREA (Jeju Café):

Hyunjin drove to the nearest Café restaurant where he and Felix decided to have their talk. After hyunjin ordered them some iced americano, he worryingly stared back at the nervous Felix who was biting his dry and bruised lower lip while looking around anxiously.

He also noticed a small fading black eye on one of Felix's eye as he stared more at him. "Look Felix, if you not ready to ta....", but Hyunjin was quickly cut off by the waiter who brought in their orders, placing them on the table before kindly leaving them.

They both took sips from their americano, then leaned back on their seats before Hyunjin faced his edgy friend who looked away while clearing his throat to speak. "That weekend you and Chan went for training, I came returned home from school not feeling well, because I just found out from the school nurse that I was 2 months pregnant, after fainting in gym class"....

Hyunjin's eyes and mouth went wide, but decided to let Felix continue. "My drunk parents were out gambling as you know, since they always went on a Friday. After bawling my eyes out for hours at the news, I finally decided calling Chan, even though I didn't want to disrupt his training with the news", he said still looking away.

"after trying to get a hold of him multiple times, I then decided to try calling you, but then, that's when my parents barged into my room wreaking of alcohol with anger laced all over their faces", Felix paused taking a breath before lowering his head to fiddle with his hoodie streps. "They locked my room and beat the shit out me, why?...because after I begged that stupid f*cking nurse not to tell them, she ended up calling them anyways".....

Hyunjin wiped a falling tear on his face as he quietly listened. "After I passed out for a while, I woke up to my hands being tied on my bed post, alone in my room. After struggling for hours to pry myself free, I heard the sound of their car entering the driveway and then I waited. I waited for what else to come, but, what they did, I was never prepared for ", he said still looking down with tears dropping on his hands.

"they unlocked my door. My mom strode toward me and harshly clutched my jaws with her hands, trying to pry my mouth open. She inserted 2 pills inside my mouth, while my dad quickly handed her a bottle of water, then she poured it down my mouth making me swallow those pills. I didn't know what they were until she said that, they're going to go wait downstairs for the bastard inside of me to die", Felix told him as he softly cried with his head down.

Hyunjin was now crying too, but immediately wiped away his tears to not draw attention from the people at the Café. Felix took a deep breath before wiping his tears and continued. "I began sweating, then I was in the most indescribable pain I've ever felt in my life, for hours Hyunjin. I cried out to them, I begged them, but they didn't come"....

"i don't know when I passed out again, but I could tell it was longer this time since I woke up the next morning. I was still tied up when I looked around my room. I then screamed out crying in horror when I saw almost my whole lower body and bed covered in my blood", Felix paused again wiping his tears as he remembered the day like it was yesterday.

Hyunjin couldn't take it anymore, then took Felix's hand in his and held it with tears falling from his eyes, "Felix...wh...why didn't you wait for us, why did you have to leave, we could've protected you, give you justice for what those bastards did", he asked in a trembling voice while Felix looked away once again before continuing.

"after passing out for about the 3rd time, this time from crying at what they did to my baby, they unlocked my door again, but my mom entered alone this time, carrying food on a tray and placing it on my nightstand before untying my hands. I couldn't look at her, I was angry, hurt, exhausted and in so much pain. She covered me with a blanket, then I heard her tell me to eat my lunch and take the pain killers next to the food. She then said, what they did was all out of love.....can you believe that sh*t?", he chuckled facing Hyunjin who was still in complete utter shock.

Felix folded his lips looking away while their hands were still holding. He exhaled sharply before continuing again. "I didn't eat, but took the pain killers which helped a bit. I then decided to limp my way to my shower since I couldn't stand looking at my blood, which was a reminder that they've killed my baby. I sat in the shower, crying for hours while holding my tummy in dispair. I even planned to tell you guys once you've returned, but they'd already planned more for me".....

Hyunjin closed his teary eyes while shaking head before Felix continued. "After changing into my sweats and changing my bedsheets, I decided to just sleep and pray for your quick return on Monday. But somewhere in the evening, they both came into my room again, grabbed me and dragged me downstairs into their car. I was fighting, kicking and screaming as my dad held me down in the back seat while my mom drove the car ".....

"i fought all the way till we reached some destination, and to my shock, we were now parked at the Jeju Airport. They told me that from now on, I was going to leave with my grandfather in Japan. I was bewildered, shocked and scared all at once. My body was like a zombie as it froze while my crushed soul drifted. We walked into the airport while thry held my arms, heading towards the checking-in section. Suddenly, I remember hearing Chan's voice telling me to wake up, and immediately felt my defeated soul return back into my body".....

"the sound of people walking and the airline informers made me realize that this was really happening, they're trying to take me away from my Chan to cover up their evil doing. I remember looking at them and saw that they're looking for the correct section to queue in while my mom held my flight ticket. I snatched it from her and ran with all my might as they tried running after me, and to my luck I believe was from the adrenaline rush of wanting to get as far away from them, they never caught me"......

"i don't know how long I ran Hyunjin, but I saw an airport lavatory close by and decided to go hide there. While hiding inside one of the stalls, I heard a guy's voice talking on his phone as he entered the lavatory. He was angrily complaining about someone booking him an incorrect flight destination to China instead of Japan. I quickly seized that opportunity and went up to him, explained my whole situation and dilemma before asking for his ticket in exchange for mine"....
