Chapter 18

Felix sobbed in Chan's arms as they held each other in a tight embrace, not caring about the lingering stares they were receiving from the people around them. It was tears of joy from Felix.

A small part of him wanted to run away by keeping his loved ones safe from Yibo, while a big part of him wanted to stay. He didn't expect Chan to find him but was definitely grateful he did.

Chan kissed his head before gently pulling it back to look at him with a warm smile. "Don't cry Lixie, I told you I got you, and I'm never letting you go".

Felix smiled as Chan caressed his face while wiping his tears away. "How...how did you find me or know that I was here?", he asked with his head tilted at Chan who just grinned at him.

[FLASHBACK]

Minho: Sir...maybe I can call in a few cops to find his location and bring him back.

Changbin: (sighs) We can't, he won't go with them, he clearly stated that he doesn't want to be found.

Hyunjin: So what then? we just let him run away!? till when Bin!!? I'm not losing my friend again!

Changbin: (sighs deeply) Chan, what should we do? Talk to us! Chan!.....Chan.....!!!

Chan looked up at Changbin from the floor as something suddenly came across his mind before immediately getting up to face the three who were startled at his behavior.

"Minho, you said something about finding his location, and Hyunjin was just trying him on the phone but he wasn't answering, meaning, if the calls are getting through, he might still be around Jeju, am I right?", he asked them.

Changbin and Minho thought for a moment as they looked at each other before facing Chan nodding in unison. "Okay, guys, since he was sleeping when I left him here about 3 hours ago, can you be able to quickly assess the room and tell what time you think he left here", he told Changbin and Minho who quickly began to examine the bedroom.

Hyunjin wiped his tears and placed a hand on Chan's shoulder grabbing his attention, "Chan, what can I do to help?" he asked with puffy eyes while Chan gave him a little smile. "Keep trying his phone and let's pray he hasn't blocked us yet or thrown it away", he told Hyunjin who quickly nodded his head and began trying Felix on his phone once again.

Minho was searching by the window and the floor while Changbin placed his hand on the bed running his hand where Felix was sleeping. He then called out to Chan who was busy on his phone texting in a fast pace. "Chan, I hope I'm right but the bed is not cold meaning he might have left here about an hour or less ago".

Chan smiled a little before facing Hyunjin, "Is his phone still connecting?". Hyunjin nodded his head with a little smile on his face, "It's still ringing Chan, that means he hasn't left", he stated with tears running down his face as Changbin went to hug his emotional husband.

"Alright Minho, you stay behind and try find his location quickly before he discards his phone or it runs out of battery which I pray non of those things happen, so go do that...like today!", he ordered Minho who gave him a quick nod before grabbing his phone and making a call as he ran out of the bedroom.

Chan faced his friends who were waiting for further instructions, "Okay guys, let's take my truck and start looking for him, he might still be walking on foot or took a taxi, Minho is our only hope now, so let's get going rather than waiting here". 

"Chan if we do find him, how are we going to convince him to stay?", Changbin enquired making Hyunjin sob even more. Chan sighed at his question since he had a point as he faced him.  

"Well Bin, I don't care what he says, I told him I'm never losing him ever again, so he's staying by my side whether he likes it or not! Now let's get going and talk on the road. We're taking my rifles with us", Chan told them as they rushed out of the bedroom.
