Chapter 12

Chan wanted nothing more than to ruin and f*ck Felix right here, right now due to longing for one another all these years after they were torn apart from each other by Felix's evil parents and that monster who held him captive. But Chan was thinking of Felix, that he just got out of the hospital, still fragile and needs to heal and recuperate.

He cursed himself internally before suddenly breaking the kiss and gently pulling Felix back as he also took a step back, making Felix lower his head in shame. "I'm sorry Chan, I..I shouldn't have....I...I should've asked" 

"No Lix, you did nothing wrong, you don't know how much I want you so bad right now as well, honestly, but, I just think you need to rest, get settled in and be comfortable, you know?", he explained to him nervously while Felix raised his eyes staring back at him with sadness.

"You're ashamed of me!", he suddenly blurted out as he took a seat on the edge of the bed lowering his head once more, making Chan's heart ache at his statement. Chan went towards him and crouched down infront of him, holding his trembling hands into his. 

"Felix, please look at me....please love". 'Love', somehow those words made Felix a bit calm as he slowly raised his teary eyes facing him. " Felix, I'll never be ashamed of you, ever! I don't know for you, but I'm still truly, deeply and madly in love with you, always have.....

"....look, when you were gone, though I got sad and angry after some time thinking you left me, my feelings never changed for you! I really didn't know what to do or what's my purpose in life without you anymore....

"...but after you returned, yes I was still angry but deep down I knew I still love you as well. And after knowing what you weren't through all those years, I knew my true purpose in life, and that is to love you more than ever, keep you safe, content and happy. But more than anything, is to help you bring those animals to justice for what they did to you".

Felix was sobbing softly with tears streaming down his eyes as he listened to Chan's loving confession, since in his mind, he thought Chan might not love him the same anymore with everything that's happened to him, hence throwing himself at him while knowing his not strong enough yet.

He placed his hand on Chan's cheek caressing it lovingly with a smile on his face, "Thank you Chan, I really thought that... that you didn't feel the same about me after....after everything. Thank you for putting me first and thinking of me. But mostly, for not giving up on me. thank you, I love you so much and I've missed you so much..."

As tears fell from Chan's eyes, he immediately embraced Felix in his arms as he sat on the bed next to him, "I've missed you more and will always love you Felix. Thank you staying strong and returning back to me. I got you, and I'm never letting you go again", he told him while prepping kisses on his head.

They sat for some time in that comfortable silence while still embracing one another till Felix fell asleep. Chan chuckled a bit at his cuteness and decided to lay down with him on the bed while still in each other's arms, then pulled his head slightly back to look at his beautiful face that he's been missing for 5 years. 

Chan caressed his face as he looked at him up closely, then proceeded by gently touching parts of his face with his finger, his grown hair that was at shoulder length, his eyebrows, his eyelashes, his nose, his freckles and his heart shaped lips. He really couldn't believe he's finally back home, back to him. 

Tears began to form in his eyes once more as he noticed few fading bruises and small scars on some parts of his face when you look closely, and the bags under his beautiful lashes from the exhaustion and trauma he's been through. 

The sound of his phone vibrating caused him to get ahold of himself as he slowly and quietly moved away from the sleeping Felix before covering him with a blanket. 

He left one lamp on the nightstand lit for him before walking out of the room and closing the door halfway then took out his phone and checked who was calling, which made him instantly sigh at seeing Hyunjin's name on caller I.D.

[Phone connected to Hyunjin🦙]

CHAN: Hyunjin......

HYUNJIN: Why did you take forever to answer, where's Felix, is he okay, what did you do to him!?.....(Changbin on the background: Hyunjin! you stop that nonsense now!)

CHAN: THANK YOU BIN!!.....

HYUNJIN: AAAH!!...don't scream in my ear!......

CHAN: What do you want Hyunjin?.....

HYUNJIN: Fine, Look....I'm sorry Chan... I wanted to call and apologize for my behavior at the hospital. I just wanted what's best for Felix, forgetting that you are what's best for him. Forgive me......

CHAN: (sighing) There's nothing to forgive, I understand, and I get that you're worried, but he's safe now, no one will ever hurt him again as long as I'm breathing. I love him, he's my world, my everything!.....

HYUNJIN: (sniffles) I'm so happy to hear that Chan....

CHAN: He needs all of us to be there for him, now more then ever, and to protect him especially since he might have to face those animals one day. But as long we're there, he'll know he doesn't have to face them alone.....

HYUNJIN: You're right Chan....thank you. Where is he, how is he doing?.....

CHAN: He's asleep right now, but he's doing fine. He's stronger than he seems, I know he'll come out strong from all of this....

HYUNJIN: You're so right, even in high school he's always been the strongest amongst us even with parents like that......

CHAN: Yeah.....

HYUNJIN: Okay I'm gonna let you guys rest, since it's Saturday tomorrow, can I come by with Bin to see you guys?......

CHAN: (laughs) Of course you can.....

HYUNJIN: Thank you Chan, Goodnight.....

CHAN: Goodnight, say Hi to Bin for me.......

HYUNJIN: Will do.....
