Chapter 10

BACK IN JAPAN - (Felix Grandfather's Home)

An old, scared man was tied to a chair as two men sat across him watching from his old couch while one of those men was going through the pictures by the fireplace which had Felix in them from when he was a toddler till he was a teenager.

He took the one where he was a teenager and smiled to himself before turning around and facing the old man. "This is my Felix, I can spot his beautiful freckles and eyes from anywhere. Now tell me old man, where you are you hiding my fiancé, tell me or we won't go easy on you", he threatened the shaken up old man who's eyes wondered in thought before looking up at Yibo.

"He never came! 5 years ago his parents said they are sending him to us, but we waited and then suddenly got news from his parents that he ran away, which broke his sick grandmother's heart. That's why she passed away 2 years ago thinking something bad might have happened to her only grandson since we called his parents almost everyday asking his whereabouts, but nothing", he explained with tears forming in his eyes.

Yibo clenched his jaws looking away when Jackson stood up approaching him. "Yibo, let's just go man, he's old and I believe him", he tried to plead with him, but Yibo scoffed before pushing Jackson aside and going closer towards the old man to crouche down infront of him.

"Did you say, his parents? So, was he leaving with his parents this whole time?", he asked the old man who thought for a bit before giving him a quick nod. "Where was he leaving with his parents, and how was his life there?", he asked curiously.

The old man thought for a while before facing Yibo once more, "They leaved in South Korea, where Yongbok was born". Yibo tilted his head in confusion as he looked at the old man. "Yongbok?", he asked while the old man smiled to him.

"Yes, that's the name I gave our little Felix while his parents decided on Felix", he answered honestly. Yibo rolled his eyes before facing the old man again, "Continue", he said. "His parents barely let us speak to him, but Felix would send us messages and videos from his phone whenever he can. Though we knew he's parents weren't good to him, but we believed he was happy since he had friends who were dear to him from the pictures he sent.... 

"he even sent us a picture of a boy he said he'd fallen in love with and will marry one day. we were so happy for him, that aside from his terrible parents he had someone who truly loved him. But, didn't you say he was your fiancé? because you don't look like the boy in the pictures he sent us. Was that the reason he ran away, to be with you young man?", the old man asked with puzzlement in his face making Yibo greet his teeth before standing up and fisting the old man's shirt angrily.

"I'm taking your phone, give me the location of where MY FELIX leaved with his parents....NOW old man!".

BACK IN SEOUL KOREAN HOSPITAL

"You have to eat Lixie, just one final bite", Hyunjin begged Felix who looked away with his lips folded together. "Felix, you need to get your strength up", he told Felix who sighed before facing him and opening his mouth, making Hyunjin smile like a proud mother.

Chan and Changbin knocked before entering the room carrying big paper bags on each hand. "Did you guys win a lottery or what?", Felix asked with a small smile on his face while Hyunjin took his hand facing him. 

"I thought we'd get you some new clothes to wear, pajamas, underwear, toiletries etc. we'll get more later, hope you like them", he explained while Felix lowered his head as Changbin took a seat next to Hyunjin on the bench and Chan sat on the chair next to the bed.

"It's okay Felix, we wanted to", Changbin told him while Chan gave a nod in agreement. Felix looked up at all of them with tears forming in his eyes and a small smile on his face, "Thank you guys, I'll repay you whenever I can", he said while Chan took his hand shaking his head at him.

"You don't have to, like Changbin said, we wanted to", he told him, making Felix bite his lower lip facing down before wiping a falling tear on his face. Suddenly, a knock came from the door and a doctor and nurse walked inside smiling at all off them.

"Evening everyone, I've got great news for you, Felix is being discharged tomorrow", he informed them, making Hyunjin cheer excitedly while Felix, Chan and Changbin smiled happily at the news as well.

"How is he doing now doctor?", Hyunjin asked curiously while the doctor took the chart from the nurse and opened to read it as Felix lowered his head fiddling with his fingers. "He's vitals are fine, he's well hydrated now, the few bruising he came with are healing perfectly. His uterus has also healed tremendously even after the two miscarriages and...Oh", the doctor suddenly covered his mouth facing Felix with regretful eyes while Hyunjin, Chan and Changbin faced the silent Felix in bewilderment at hearing about another miscarriage.

The doctor rubbed the back of his neck with his eyes lowered, at forgetting that Felix begged him to not tell them about the recent miscarriage, which was the reason he was brought to the hospital in the first place. "My apologies Mr. Lee, I'll uhm...just give you all a moment", the doctor said before dragging the nurse and rushing out of the room.

The room was in awkward silence when a tear fell on Hyunjin's face as he looked at Felix who had his head down the entire time. "Lixie?", Hyunjin softly called out his name as he took in his hand while Felix looked up at him with his tear-stained face.

"I didn't know as well that I was pregnant when I ran from him, and since I was on a pill, I guess, it's either they didn't work, or he changed them to get me pregnant. the doctor told me when i woke up, that's when I asked him to not tell you guys. I was just too ashamed to have two babies die inside of me and couldn't do anything about it, it pained me so much", he told them as he began to cry in grief, causing Hyunjin to climb on his bed and embrace him.

"It wasn't your fault Lixie, none of it was, do you understand me?", Hyunjin told him while Felix gave a nod in their embrace as Chan and Changbin lowered their heads in deep sorrow at what Felix had gone through.
