Chapter 15

Chan and Changbin knew they can't lie their way out of this one, and though they didn't feel right explaining to them, but it had to be done, especially now that they have that psychopath on the loose and on his way here.

They all decided to have the conversation inside the house since the powerful smoke coming from the destroyed barbecue meat was heavy in the air outside. And so, they sat in the living room while Felix and Hyunjin stared intensely at Chan and Bin who didn't even know where to begin.

As Chan was sitting next to Felix, he held his hand which caused Felix to face him anxiously. "Look Lix I know you want to hear about everything, but...I just don't think you're ready love". Felix irritably pulled his hand away from his before turning his upper body to face Chan directly.

"Chan, I know you and Changbin care about me and want to keep me from any more pain, But I can take it, I'm not a child, and I want to know especially if this is related to my life, I have the right to know", he stated before leaning back on his seat.

Changbin  who was sitting next to Hyunjin across from Chan and Felix suddenly cleared his throat as he looked at Felix infront of him. "Actually Felix, you don't have a right, this is police matters with highly classified information", he stated while Hyunjin pinched his arm making Bin wince in pain.

"Bin, How could you say that...to us! especially to Felix who's not only our friend but our family! You told Chan but he's not a cop. Now stop with your nonsense and tell us what is going on now!!", Hyunjin demanded angrily, making Changbin and Chan glance at one another in frustration.

Chan looked back at Felix next to him and held his hand once more, "Are you sure you're ready to hear this?", he asked out of concern, which made Felix wipe away a forming tear from the nerves before nodding his head.

"Alright, but if you want a break anytime just let us know okay Lix!?", he told him while Felix held his hand tighter and gave him a nervous smile before nodding at him once more. Chan exhaled sharply as he faced Changbin infront of them, "Go ahead Bin, the floor is yours".

Time skip (after Changbin finished explaining everything regarding Yibo)

The room was dead silent afterwards, then suddenly, Hyunjin blurted out in anger and fright as he faced both Changbin and Chan, "Oh my God, you two were really going to keep this from us? you bastards!...how could you!?". Changbin tried to pat his shoulder, but Hyunjin just slapped it away.

Chan glanced at the quiet Felix next to him who had tears streaming down his eyes and he tried to embrace him but Felix angrily pushed him away and turned his upper body to face him directly once again.

"You were really gonna keep this from me Chan? THEY MURDERD MY FRIENDS!!!THEY TIED UP MY LONELY GRANDFATHER!!! when were you gonna tell me Huh? Once they've kidnapped me again? TELL ME!!!!", he furiously yelled out while Changbin came to Chan's defense.

"Look Felix, Chan only knew today same as you and Hyunjin, he thought we shouldn't tell you yet and not because we were gonna keep this from you, but he's still also processing the whole situation until we find a way to get those bastards", he explained while Hyunjin scoffed at him looking away.

Felix suddenly stood up from his seat, causing the rest to get up as well with worry. "I need to be alone", he stated and as he tried to leave, but Chan quickly grabbed his hand, making Felix halt his steps but didn't turn back to face him.

"Baby I know you're mad, but please understand that I just wanted to protect you from this by not telling you now, until you're ready", he tried to plead with him, but Felix stood still not looking back at him and spoke out, "And who protected my friends Chan, who protected my grandfather?", he questioned before pulling his hand away and running up the stairs, shutting the door to their bedroom.

Hyunjin tried to run after him, but Changbin pulled him back, "Let him go babe, he needs to be alone, it understandable. Let's just give him some time to calm down and process this, it's alot and he's scared", he told his fiancé who sat back down crying.

Chan angrily went to the kitchen and opened the fridge taking out a beer and gulped it all the way down as Changbin approached him. "Chan, Felix will need us now more than ever, and I need you sober man", he implored to him while Chan chuckled to himself with a tear forming in his eyes.

"You know what's funny Bin, I feel like I failed him, how do I go against the mafia. I know I sound like a pussy right now but I wont lie to you, I'm scared of losing him again", he confessed, making Changbin take the beer bottle from his hand and placed a hand on his shoulder.

"You won't lose him again okay...we just have be ready for them when they come, right now your focus must be on Felix, to take care of him, keep him safe with you and assure him that we'll get these bastards. Do You still have the riffles your father gifted you?", he asked Chan who nodded his head while wiping his teary eyes.

"Then you keep those close, and always stay with Felix. we'll get these mother f*ckers once and for all! and we'll show them how we run things in South Korea. They f*cking with the wrong people", he stated before hugging his friend, then Hyunjin got up from his seat and ran up to them joining in the hug, making Chan and Changbin chuckle at him.
