(Friday, 3:30PM, London, 19th September)
The bell rings and I smile, packing up my stuff. I walk out of class and head to the entrance, running and hand through my hair. I sit on the steps, waiting for Phil's car to pull in. I scroll through my phone, smiling at the messages from Cameron. I hear a car honk and I look up, grinning. I run to the car, climbing in. Dad looks at me, grinning.
"Hey, bud. You have a good day?" He says. I shrug, kissing his cheek. "It was fine." I say. My phone starts buzzing. I look at it and see Axel's name pop up. I smile and answer the video call.
"Hey, Axel! You okay?" I say. Axel smiles at me. "Yeah, I'm alright! My dad and Stas ended their fling. He's dating this girl called Malia now. And San and Kat broke up months ago. He's dating this girl called Katelyn." He says. Dad laughs. Axel grins. "Hi, Dan!" Axel says. "Hello, Axel." Dad says back. I grin. "I can't wait to come up there for the break. We're packing up our stuff in London to come up there until next spring!" I say. Axel nods. We continue taking for a few more minutes before saying our goodbyes and hanging up. I put phone away and look up and Dad and Phil smiling at each other. "Could you not give each other sex eyes in my presence, please?" I remark. Phil blushes, making Dad laugh.
