I laugh as Oli picks me up, dangling me by my feet. Dad walks in, shaking his head. "Oli, do not drop my only daughter, please." He says. Oli grins at him. Caleb looks us, rolling his eyes. Oli puts me down, and I run up to Caleb. Caleb looks at me. "You chatting to Melody?" I ask. Caleb nods. I frown. Luna walks in, kissing on Oli on the cheek. "You kids having fun?" She says. I nod. Caleb mumbles something. "Adoro come mio padre si preoccupi più del mio amico che di me." He says. Luna scowls at him. "Non iniziare, Caleb Gauntlett." She says firmly. I giggle. Caleb walks out of the room, storming up the stairs. We all hear a door slam. Luna sighs. I look over at Mum. She gives me a kind smile. "I'll go talk to him." I say.
I head upstairs, walking down the corridor. I knock on Caleb's door. "What?" He calls out. "It's me, Cal." I say. Caleb groans. "Go away, Halsey. Why don't you go hog my dad some more?" He says. I open his door. Caleb sits up, staring at me. "Get out of my room. Now." He says. I stand my ground. "GET THE FUCK OUT! GO AND BE A BITCH SOMEWHERE ELSE! GO AND STEAL SOMEONE ELSE'S DAD! YOU FUCKING PIECE OF SHIT!" He screams at me. I run out and slam the door, tears streaming down my face. I run down the stairs. Luns comes out. "Oh, Halsey!" She says, hugging me. I sob into her shirt. Mum comes out. "What happened?!" She exclaims. "C-caleb told me I'm a piece of shit and that I stole Oli from him..." I sob. Oli balls his fist. "Well be having words with him. Don't worry, Hallie." Oli says.
