Dad drives me up to the gate, smiling at me in the rear view mirror. "Have a good day, bud!" He says. I roll my eyes, getting out of the car and slamming the door. I walk into school, heading up the steps. Halsey meets me at the door. "Hiya!" She says, hugging me. I hug her back tightly. "I'm sorry for being a dick." I say. She laughs. "It's fine!" She tells me. Dad calls my name. I look over at him, running over and hugging him tightly. "I love you." I say. Dad grins. "I love you too, bud. Have a good day!" He waves, heading back to the car. I smile at Halsey. "My place after school? Zack can come, too." I ask. Halsey nods, linking her arm through mine. We head off to Music.

I walk over to our lunch table, sitting next to Zack. Zack grins, hugging me. "Hey. Sorry about last month." He says. I shrug. "It's cool. You coming to my place after school?" I say. Zack nods. "Of course. We have to film for Rainbow Group anyways." He says. "Oh yeah! I totally forgot about that! Melody messaged me about it like 2 days ago." I explain. Halsey joins in on the conversation. "Honestly, Caleb! You're Melody's boyfriend. You should know!" She chides. I roll my eyes. "I didn't, though." I say. Halsey shrugs. We finish eating our lunch in silence, cleaning up our plates before heading to our afternoon classes.

Halsey and Zack head up to my room. I grab the snacks and my camera, following them. "So, what's the plan for the video?" Zack asks. I look at Halsey, who shrugs. "Maybe we could do an updated Q+A or something." I suggest. Halsey pauses. "Maybe we should do that when we go up to America for the Christmas break." She says. I nod. "That's a good idea, actually. I'll text Riley and tell her to tell the gang that." I say.
