"Okay, so I have to go, I'll be right back. Do you want me to make you something to eat before I leave? Grilled cheese?" I asked Micah, as I finished wheeling his suitcase through the front door.

"No, it's okay. I'll just have some hot pockets or something," he responded, removing his backpack which had his PlayStation console.

"Those are in the freezer. I'll also send you some money in case you want to order food or quickly go out," I responded"

I had just returned from fetching him from my parent's place for the Summer holidays.
Despite knowing my schedule would be hectic, I was eager to make his visit as enjoyable as possible. I had also planned a few fun things that I looked forward to doing with him.

"How long are you going to be gone for?" He raised his brow.

"A while, but not too long."

"Are you going to Zara?"

"No, I'm m going over to my stylist then I'll be back. Okay?"

"Okay," he sighed, taking hold of his suitcase and heading to the guest room.

"Don't be like that, Micah. I'll be back before you know it," I said, trying to assure him.

"Aight, aight," he responded from a distance.

I know how bad it looked telling him that I had to leave as soon as we arrived from the two-hour road trip, but I had no choice.

I swiftly grabbed my car keys and headed out.

I used the car stereo to make a call and it rang until my stylist picked up. My eyes looked straight ahead, paying full attention to the road before me.

"Hi, Hollie," she said.

"I'm on my way to your place now," I informed.

"Okay, great, see you soon."

"Okay, cool."

"Bye," she said before she hung up.

I had to rush for a last-minute fitting for my VEVO Studio performance outfit because I wasn't satisfied with the previous options she had offered. Initially, she insisted on a green outfit to match the album title, but I didn't feel it was necessary. Instead, I suggested opting for something neutral.

I drove for nearly forty minutes before reaching her place, heading straight to her front door upon arrival.

"I have a good feeling you'll love this outfit," Becca said as soon as she opened her door, "I had Janae-Rioja send it over."

"Who is Janae -Rioja?" I repeated, entering her place.

"She's an up-and-coming designer who is currently in her last year of design school. We connected on Instagram two months ago."
