Burnin: So, thing is, Shoto is the only one Endeavor wanted to train on his own. But don't worry, us sidekicks will take good care of you other two!

Bakugo: I'm here because I was told I could watch the number-one hero work up close!

Midoriya: You'll still see him! Please calm down, Kacchan!

You: Bakugo has a point. If we're not getting trained by or get to see Endeavor. I don't see much point in being here.

Todoroki: This isn't how I expected things to play out. I'll try talking to him.

Before Todoroki could do anything, the doors to Endeavor's office swung open as the room full of chattering employees fell silent.

Endeavor: Shoto. Shapeshifter. Deku. Bakugo. I'll look after you four myself.

Bakugo: About time.

(Timeskip)

After the 4 of you got dressed in your hero outfits, Endeavor led you to a gym. You couldn't help but be at least a little excited.

Endeavor: You boys are now under my tutelage. The three of you, tell me about yourselves. What are you currently capable of? What weaknesses do need to improve upon?

Midoriya: I want to perform at my fullest. But to do that, I'll need to gain better control over my power.

Endeavor: How interesting. Your Quirk is so strong that it hurts you. Is that right?

Midoriya: Yes. I've learned to control it enough so that I don't usually injure myself. However... uh... Recently, there's uh... this other thing. It's kinda like um... So, it's my power, but it's manifesting in a way I've never experienced before.

Baku was practically twitching as you patted his shoulder to try and calm him down. Or to take his mind off of what Midoriya was saying.

Endeavor: Show me.

Midoriya straightened his arm as a whip-like amount of energy came out of one of the knuckles on his gloves, albeit small in appearance.

Midoriya: If I concentrate, I can release the small amount I can handle. That's the most that I can manage for right now. If I'm not careful, then untamed energy explodes out of me.

Endeavor: What do you mean by performing to your fullest? Explain your power.

Midoriya: It seems flexible like a whip and could be super versatile. I want to turn this risky thing into a useful weapon. I guess the truth is, I'm trying to see if I can figure out how to control it at will the same way I learned to do with Air Force.

You: Air... Force?

Midoriya: Oh, right. Heh, heh, sorry. Air Force is a whole other thing. That's a long-distance attack that uses wind pressure, but I'm still working on that, too, because for it to be most effective, it needs more output than my body is prepared for. In my current state, I can only tolerate maintaining a certain amount of power. My baseline is about ten-to-fifteen percent, but Air Force needs around 20 percent, so I go a little over. Did that all make sense? At that point, even if I don't injure myself, there's a painful tingling and it affects my mobility and speed. That's why I've practiced so I can release Air Force in an instant and go back to a safe level of output right away. If I could just do this with Blackwhip, then theoretically, I should be able to use that power whenever I want. But I'm not even close to being that in control of the ability yet. See, when I'm fighting, I adjust my power output as I move. So I'd be adding another element to that, which is hard to juggle. I've been training so I can perform without thinking, but so far, I haven't had much luck, which is why I'm excited to be here! And-!
