"No idea" I said, shaking my head. I turn my head to look at the mark on my arm. The shining had stopped and it looks like an ordinary tattoo. But now I know it's far more than that. What the hell is going on with me? Why did I suddenly able to do these stuff? Where did this ice power come from?

After the tiredness slowly disappears, I turn my head to look at Tanjiro. "Wait... what happened to the demon's head? The body obviously dies from that fall" I said. I look over the cliff to see the body is still, not moving an inch.

"Right. I pinned the head with the axe against the tree. We have to kill it" he said. He moves to stand up. I do the same as the three of us make our way back to where the demon's head was.

It's pinned into the tree. "It grew a pair of arms? Okay, that's a little creepy" I said, feeling creeped out at the side of the head with arms. I turn my head to look at Tanjiro to see him nodding his head. "We have to kill it now" I said.

I lift my hand. I visualize the same sword and it appears again. Now that I'm aware of it, it comes easier for me to control my power. I still wish to know why I suddenly started possessing this powers.

"Actually, Y/N. Can I be the one to end this demon?" I hear Tanjiro said, placing a hand on my shoulder. I turn my head to look at him. I lower my hand, releasing the control I have over the ice sword which makes it melts into water. I watch as Tanjiro reach slowly pulls out a knife.

"Tanjiro, are you going to do it?" I asked. He didn't say anything as he just stares the demon's head. I swiftly turn around and grab something, which happens to be a wrist of a man in blue haori. I don't know what kind of expression this man has on his face. But the way his wrist feels slightly tense by my action, lets me know that he's probably surprise by my reflect.

I slowly release his wrist. "Who are you?" I asked. He didn't say anything to me. He turn his head towards Tanjiro. He told him that a knife won't be enough to end the demon. Tanjiro keep the knife and reaches down to grab a boulder. But he still didn't do anything as he wears a troubled expression.

The demon slowly regains consciousness. He starts to spurt out insults at the two of us. I just clench my hands into tight fists. He's starting to get really annoying. But before I could do anything, The sun had slowly starts to rise.

I watch as the demon's head burns and turns into ash. My eyes widen at the sight. So that's what happens when the demons get exposed to sunlight. Now I understand why Nezuko shied away from the sun.

"Nezuko... Nezuko!" I called out, turning to look around. Tanjiro finally realizes that his sister isn't with us. I turn my head to look at the shrine. I rush towards the door and look inside to see Nezuko hiding inside the basket. A sheet of fabric is also covering her head. I let out a sigh of relief, knowing she's alright.

Tanjiro rushes over to stand next to me. He also looks relieved to see his little sister is okay. I blink my eyes when I realize the man in blue haori isn't nearby.

"Where's that man?" I asked, turning to look at him. He blinks his eyes and runs off. I follow close behind him. We found the man burying the dead man's body. Aside from sneaking up on me. I don't feel any hostility from this man. It's like he's someone I can trust.

The man turns his attention to us. He walks up to us, until he stands in front of Tanjiro. "What will you do if your sister ever harms a human?" He asked, focusing his attention on Tanjiro. Tanjiro freezes up at what he said.

He walks up to Tanjiro and slaps his face. He turn his head to look at me. "What about you? What will you do if she harms a human?" He asked. I bit my lips at what he said.

"I'll make sure she doesn't. And if she does... I'll be the one to stop her. Whatever it'll take" I said, my voice is filled with determination. He nod his head, seemingly satisfied with my statements. He turn his head to look at Tanjiro again.

"You're too indecisive! If your sister ever harms a human. Kill her and slit open your stomach. It's your responsibility for letting her linger around!" He said. His voice sounded stern and firm. Tanjiro lowers his head at what he said. "If you understand. Go get your sister and follow me" he said. Tanjiro rushes off to get Nezuko. I wait for him to get Nezuko ready.

"You... what was that?" The man said. I turn my head to look at him, in confusion. "That moves. Your reflect. You have the reflect of a highly trained Slayer. But judging by how you bring yourself. You haven't been receiving any training. So how did you manage to sense me?" He said.

"I don't know, sir... a lot of weird things happened to me ever since that incident" I said. He hums at what I said. I hear footsteps and turn my head to see Tanjiro with the basket on his back. "Are you ready, Tanjiro?" I asked. He smiles at me and nod his head.

"Very well... follow me" he said. He starts to run. The two of us quickly follows close behind him. I notice him picking up his pace. I blink my eyes in surprise at how fast an old man like him could be. I turn my head to look at Tanjiro to see him struggling to keep up. I slow down a little, wanting to make sure he can keep going. I don't want him to get left behind.

We breathe heavily once we reached a small hut. I'm guessing this is his house. "Good... now let's go and hike. Your real test begins now" he said. I feel a drop of sweat rolling down the side of my head, as I stare at him in disbelief. All those running we've been doing weren't the actual test? We have to go hiking?? Oh, You've got to be kidding me.
