Chapter 14 - You're Heartless

AN - I know it's been ages since I've updated and I'm really sorry. It's now the holidays so I will hopefully try and update a few times in the holidays. Thankyou so much for almost 4000 reads! Everything had been great, I was now lying in bed thinking how about the last week. I couldn't believe how amazing them kids were and then to be reminded that they are mine and will always be my little girls. Since Rebecca first told me they were mine I had tried to see them almost every day if I could. I loved them so much and whenever the guilt of missing out things in their lives set in they would be able to tell I wasn't being myself and would climb on my back and pull at the corners of my mouth pulling my lips into a smile and I would end up smiling anyway. However bad I had been to them they still loved me and I loved them more than anything in the world. 

I had talked to some of my family the night after meeting the girls and told them about it and when I told my mum she went mental, she insisted on having to meet them as soon as she could. I couldn’t wait to show them off to my family, I had planned it all out in my head even though it probably won’t end up that way. I’ve learnt that recently, things don’t turn out how you plan them to; it’s just nice to imagine.

Today I am bringing the girls to meet the boys and I’m really excited for that too. These boys are like brothers to me and the fact that I get to introduce my children to them and just to spend another day with them girls is amazing.I was going to pick Rebecca, Annabelle and Lillie up later and bring them back here and they could just stay here for as long as they wanted. Right now if anyone could see me then I probably looked like a complete idiot because I couldn't stop smiling at the moment.

"Niaaaall!" I heard Liam shout while walking through my door and I sat up a little to look at him. He noticed I was awake and smiled slightly. "Rebecca called" he told me and threw my phone over to me. I picked it up from where it landed on my bed just as it made a pinging noise to let me know I had a text. 

"Thanks" I mumbled as I opened the text. Even though I wasn't looking I could tell that he had stayed where he was standing. I read the text, which like the phone call, was from Rebecca. I replied quickly saying that I can pick them up whenever they want. I then put my phone back down and looked up at Liam who smiled at me.

"You really are happy about it all aren't you?" He said and I smiled widely and nodded. 

"Everything's finally working out,” I said in a slightly dream state of voice and he smiled at me again before walking out. And it was the truth, everything was working out and the amount that I had missed Rebecca in the past I now had her back in my life with two incredible girls added in as well. 

After a while of staying in bed for longer, simply because I had nothing else to do, I got up and got ready. About half an hour later I got in my car and began the drive to Rebecca’s to pick them up.When I got there they were already ready and waiting for me and I was greeted by two big hugs from my gorgeous girls.

"DADDY!" They yelled as they ran up to me and I bent down to pull them into my arms. Their arms wrapped loosely around me and I kissed the top of both their heads. I then stood up and by that time Rebecca had walked over and smiled at me.
