Present Day
I was walking back to the car after just having dropped the girls off at nursery and was now on the way to work. I had a surprise photo shoot today that my manager, Kirsty, had arranged. She hadn’t told me whom it was with. Just told me the time and what studio the shoot was at. I drove there while listening to the radio when it started to play a song Niall used to play to me on guitar. I switched it off before I could feel tears in my eyes.
-Flashback-
Niall had come with Harry to Holmes Chapel. They had been away on tour in America and were finally home, Harry decided to visit his family and Niall told me he wanted to see me so he came along. After begging my parents, they agreed to let him stay at our house for a week and I was so happy. Right now we were just sat in my room, I was at my desk doing some work for school and Niall was sat on my bed with his guitar. He wasn’t playing anything in particular just loads of different chords all together but it still sounded nice. The next thing I knew he had started playing the chords to Wherever You Will Go. He knew I loved the song and he started singing along. I turned around from my desk to look at him sat there on my bed and he smiled sweetly up at me. I was bored of doing work anyway, so I got up and went and sat next to him. When he finished he put the guitar down and pulled me in for a hug.
“I love you so much Rebecca,” He said while kissing the top of my head.
“I love you too Niall” I replied hugging him closer, not wanting to let go of this moment.
-End of Flashback-
I blinked the tears back and breathed in calming myself, remembering how worthless he had made me feel and that I had done fine in the past few years without him. I waited for the traffic light to turn green and then carried on my way to the studio I was at today. I arrived and Kirsty greeted me happily.
“Rebecca this is going to be brilliant!” She said while walking with me to set up my equipment. “It’s going to attract so many more customers and it will be a great reputation for the business!” I finished with the lighting and started sorting the camera lenses I would be using today. I still hadn’t asked who was coming for the shoot when Kirsty told me that they were in makeup now. She then walked off and I made sure everything was in the right place before walking to get a chair for them to sit on during their face shoots. I walked through the corridor and that was when I heard it… the Irish accent that made my heart melt.
AN - I know this chapter is quite short but I'll try and update it quicker. The song is the one that Niall plays if any of you didn't know xxx
