I hadn't slept well at all last night, because I was too busy crying or trying not to cry. When I woke up, I found the house to be completely empty: Andy was on Warped Tour, Juliet was out shopping for Louis, and Louis was with his mom.
The way I felt that morning was only to be described as feeling that you'll never be able to smile again, but deep down you know it's going to be ok.
I poured my coffee into my cup, and sat down at the small breakfast nook. My phone started buzzing loudly in the table; it had been a FaceTime request from Drew.
I accepted the request, and Drew's face popped up on the screen. He smiled, "Good morning."
I smiled shyly, "Good morning to you too."
"You're so beautiful," He stated, and then asked as he studied my bloodshot eyes, "You've been crying, haven't you?"
I sighed, "Yeah," and even more tears welled in my eyes, "I just really love and miss you."
My hand went over my eyes so Drew couldn't see how upset I was. He caringly asked, "Have you taken your medicine yet?"
"No, not yet," I sniffled, and wiped some of the tears away from my eyes. I forced a smile, "How was your flight?"
Drew smiled back, "It was good; we landed in New York about an hour ago and now we're just waiting for the flight to Athens," Somebody handed Drew a coffee cup and he replied, "ευχαριστώ (Thank you.). Do you have any plans for today?"
I huffed, "None that I know of. If Juliet wants to do something I won't say no, and I also have to go work, but other than that it looks like I'm staying home today," then I asked, "What time will you get to Greece?"
Drew sipped his coffee, and replied, "We'll land in Athens at about 9:30 pm their time and get to Delphi at like eleven."
"Can you say jet-lag?" I laughed.
"Yeah," He grinned, "But I might be able to sleep on the plane."
I smiled shyly, "I have to get ready for work soon."
Drew ran his hand through his hair, and sighed, "Have fun. I'll call you when we land in Athens. I love you so much."
"I love you too," I smiled.
