I stood at the beginning of the long, white hall, my feet were buried in the white linoleum, and I was yelling, "No! You and I both know they won't want me!" The hanging lights beat down on my natural, rocker, black hair causing a wave of heat to sweep over me--now for sure I looked presentable I bet! All hot and sweaty with my make-up running I bet; very pretty.

"Just give them a shot," Ms. Jonston said while pushing me down the hall towards the white door that had a tiny window in it, "they seem like your type of people." My type of people, you've said that for all of the people that have come in for me--most of them are apple pie, Christian, normal people; not my type of people. The type of people that I like are the wild people, the people who stand out from everyone, they are kind of like rock stars.

Ms. Jonston was quite large, but she was very strong. I was being pushed towards the door at a rapid speed; I was never this stubborn when it cam to meeting families, but then I was tired of meeting families that hated the even sight of me when I walked in that door.

You see I'm a parent's worst nightmare--this rebellious kid who couldn't give two craps about authority or what about people thought about me, I dressed in all black and wore barley any makeup, and guess what--I don't like Justin Bieber or One Direction!

I know, I'm the most un-cool thing ever.

But, I as I was in mid thought, the white door flew open and I was shoved into a white room with a bland, brown table. A rock star looking couple sat at the table; the girl had pink hair that was wavy, she was wearing a fancy, black tank top with lots of accessories, and she had dark makeup on; the guy was very tall and thin, his black hair was in a flop and he had a little tail of it in the back, he had on a black vest that was buttoned all the way up, the man had lots of tattoos, and he had absolutely stunning blue eyes.

I had to admit this family was my type of people.

I made my way over to the chair that was on the opposite side of the brown table, "Hi," I said awkwardly.

Once I had sat down the girl with pink hair shook my hand and greeted me, "Hi, I'm Juliet Simms, and this is my boyfriend Andy Biersack." Andy shook my hand and Juliet asked me politely, "Could you tell us about yourself?"

"Well, my parents died in a car crash when I was six and none of my relative wanted to take care of me so I was shipped her," I began to explain, "all of the people who interviewed me had no interest in adopting me because I was a very rebellious kid--one time I head butted a kid because I wanted to be line leader," Andy laughed loudly and nodded in a approval. "I still am pretty rebellious, but that's the rule I live by. I'm into 80's rock and I guess that's where I got the idea of having fun and rebelling, and I'm not your average kid; I guess that's it really," Wow, I just realized that I'm unnaturally boring.

"I love your music selection!" Andy said happily, and then he asked, "What band is your favorite?"

Man, that was a tough one, "Probably Kiss, but Motley Crue and Alice Cooper are tied for second and the Misfits are third," I said excitedly--maybe these people would actually want me!

"I'll take her!" Andy Exclaimed, and then asked a very important question, "Do you know who the band Black Veil Brides is?"

That's a very familiar band name, "I've heard of them--one day Alice Cooper was saying really nice things about them," I explained casually.

"Perfect," Juliet said, and right after she said that Ms. Jonston stormed in.

"She hasn't terrified you yet, has she?" She asked with a shaky voice, I could sense the fright in her voice.

"Not at all," Juliet complimented, "I think we'll take her!" My heart nearly stopped when she said that she would take me, some one actually wanted me, I would actually have a family! Finally this day has come: the day that I would go home to a mother and a father.

"I've got the paperwork filled out in advance, so Aksana just needs to get her bags packed!" Ms. Jonston exclaimed in excitement, and she walked over to my chair and piratically yanked me out of my seat by Ms. Jonston and dragged out of the room.

She dragged me down the long hallway that connected the dorms to the meeting room, the door swung open when she opened it. "I told you they were people like you!" She exclaimed excitedly as she threw me into the warmly lit hallway, "Now go grab your suitcases and out everything you own in them!"

She stood at the doorway and stared at me awkwardly, so I backed away slowly and towards my room. My room was at the end of the first floor; I had no roommate, because nobody wanted to room with me. I nearly sprinted down the hallway in excitement, I could hear the loud clack of my black cowboy boots hitting the floor through the building.

I slammed into the wall next to my room and I flew in my room and I ran to my closet, inside was all black clothes--mostly of the rocker type--at the bottom sat two, brown, old fashioned suitcases (the square kind) that were huge, so surely they could fit all of my clothes.

I opened the both of my suitcases and took all of my clothes off of the hangers and "folded" them neatly in my suitcase, and then I put all of my shoes--converse, vans, and black cowboy boots in the second suitcase along with my undergarments and socks. Nothing else remained in my room, well except from my picture of me and my parents when I was younger at the zoo--my grandma, who didn't care for me, sent it to me. Carefully, I tucked it under my socks, and I smiled.

"Are you ready yet?" Ms. Jonston yelled from outside of my room.

"Yeah," I said while locking my suitcases and leaving my room--forever.
