Drew’s Point of View

I parked my car in the school parking lot, and then I walked up to the front doors. Inside was the main hall filled with people, and I didn’t want to be around a single one of them—only Aksana.

As I walked down the long hallway I saw people making a large crowd in front of the lockers, and lots of people had cell phones out videotaping something. I jumped up and down to see what they were videotaping, but there were too many heads in the way.

Slowly, I began to push my way in the crowd and once I had gotten to the front nearly I heard the voices of Bryce and Jakob taunting someone.

“Come on emo, fight back!” Bryce yelled, and I saw him shove the person up against the lockers; it was Aksana. She looked to be crying very hard, and she had bruises on her face.

Her blue eyes met with mine, and the look on her face was the equivalent to seeing a puppy being kicked; Aksana had a single tear run down her cheek, and it was the most heart-breaking thing I had ever seen.

“Come on! Do something, or are you too shy you little emo freak?” Jakob taunted her, and another tear ran down her cheek.

I had to do something to help her; it just hurt to watch her be like that.

I pushed people out of my way and I stepped in front of Bryce and Jakob, “Guys, just leave her alone!” I yelled clearly annoyed, and Bryce and Jakob just laughed. So, to get my point across, I began to crack my knuckles threateningly, and Bryce and Jakob walked back into the crowd.

Soon the crowd dispersed, and everyone was walking to their first period class. I heard Aksana close her locker door, and she began to walk away extremely quickly.

I could feel my heart break into a trillion pieces when she was walking away clutching her hurt side.
