We got to Melz house about 15 minutes later. And I realized everyone was here, which made me uncomfortable. I saw dd with a similar expression on his face.

"I'm not fucking going in there." He said throwing his head back on the head rest.

"I can drop them off." I offered unbuckling my seat belt before getting both kids and their bags out the car. "Say bye dad." I told them as dd rolled down his window waving bye at them.

"I've been doing well, Dd is in the car he said he ain't coming in neither am I." I told her reading the thoughts in her head. "The only people they are aloud to be around are you, notti, your mom, edot, and the kids too. I want at least one of y'all in the room with them if they are with everyone else." I said very seriously to her.

"I got you girl, don't worry." She said reassuring me that the kids will be fine.

"La'rya I you to be my girl because you the most caring, and kindest person I know. And you're a great mother to our kids. I love you so so so much it ridiculous. And I just want you to be mines forever." He said holding out a promise ring as well.

I was still in shock that he did all this just for me, he really didn't have to. "Yes I will be your girlfriend." I told him walking up and smashing our lips together.

"Ma, listen I gotta go do these shows" right now dd was trying to convince me to go do some shows, but the kids are just starting kindergarten and it's been hard for them to adjust, and me too. "The kids can just stay with my mom or melz." He said still trying to reason with me.

"Dd let's not forget what happened the last time they went over there." I told him not liking the idea already.

"Ma, it's only a week you're acting like we are going to be gone for some months." He huffed sitting on the bed.

"To me it's going to feel like some months because due the past six fucking years I have seen them everyday. And haven't been away from them more than 10 hours. David you fail to forget that I never really had nobody to just give the kids to we have been attached to the hip since august 25th at 4:44 pm six years ago." I said telling him the real reason I don't wanna go. Leaving the twins would be the hardest for me.

"Ok ma I'm sorry I forget that you can't just leave the kids." He said hugging me. "Speaking of the kids we gotta pick them up." He said looking at the time on his phone.

"You go pick them up I have a client soon." I told him sliding on my dark blue crocs.

We both went down stairs grabbing the keys to our cars, got in them and headed to our destinations.

At the shop

"Hey boo I haven't seen you in a while." Jayna greeted me. She was sitting at the front desk organizing some papers when I walked in.

"Hey girl, it's been a while." I said coming around the desk and giving her a hug. "Ok, imma go get ready for this client I got." I broke away from the hug heading to my room in the back.

I started setting up for the client. She was getting a wig install, I already bleached the knots and dried the wig already.

"Hey boo." The girl said walking in the room, it was the same girl from the cake place.
