"Mann DD just go look at them kids they look just like you." ddot said trying to convince DD for the hundredth time that Rya didn't cheat, and that them his damm kids. "Yo word to my dead's I don't wanna hear it. Yall lucky I ain't spazz on yall for talking to her behind my back." DD said lighting the pre-rolled blunt."

Fast forward to today

La'rya pov

"Ok, make sure if anything happens call me." I said while buckling Esmari. "We got you my heart." ddot said hopping in the passenger seat. "And no smoking around my babies either please." I said closing the door.

Notti pov

"Okay Mari and sev let's go inside." I grabbed Mari hand while ddot grabbed sev's hand and walked into the house. "We was waiting on you guys." Melz said from the couch. "Who kids is them?" Sia asked. "These rya kids we wanted to take them for a little." Second ddot said that the room went silent, like you could hear a pen drop. "They look like DD for real though." Mamma said with raised eyebrows. "I feel bad." Miss. Talia said frowning. "Hi what's your name?" King said walking up to sev and Mari. "I'm Rylan, but everyone calls me sev and that's my sister Esmari but we call her Mari, she's shy." Sev said while Mari waved at him. "Well I'm king and my mommy on the couch and my dad is holding your hand." King said pointing at Sia and ddot. "Wanna go play, I got cool toys." King said looking between the two twins. "Yea, come on Mari." Sev said looking at Mari, she shook her head no. Sev shrugged his shoulders and went to play.

"He even sounds like DD" edot said in shock. "Mari, why don't you wanna go play." I asked getting down on her level. "Mommy not here." She said. "You want me to call her?" I asked grabbing my phone. She shook her head yea.

Outgoing call.....

"What's wrong"

"Chill Mari wanted me to call you"

"Put her on the phone"

"Mari just go sit next to uncle ddot for now okay." She nodded and sat next to ddot and Sia. With DD on the other side of her. DD just watched her and sev with a look of regret on his face. "Where's your dad?" King asked sev. "King I don't think that's an appropriate question to asked sev." Sia said trying to defuse it as quick as possible. "Well mommy said that our dad was a good person then when she got pregnant he needed some time to himself and he'll be back when he's ready." Sev said. "Mommy also said he might not come back, but it's okay because we need is her." Mari said. "At least she ain't make him seem like a bitch." Roscoe said grabbing the prerolled blunt about to light it. "Don't light that." ddot said right before the flame touched it. "Why not?" He asked getting defensive. "Well rya gon be here any second and she gon fill if we smoked around her kids. Yall remember when I came home with that bruise on my shoulder?" I said relaxing in my chair. "Yea I don't want no parts in that. We finna go outside with it." Roscoe said with Justin, jstar, and DD following him.

Did I want to go to this little get together right now? Hell no. I don't got time to deal with anything going on over there. I'm doing fine in life yea these kids lowkey stressing me out but it ain't nothing I can't handle. But imma go over there for my baby Mari. I was just pulling up to auntie house and seen Justin, Roscoe, Jstar, and DD on the porch smoking. I sighed then got out of the car. My game plan was to smile and wave and go inside the house not a problem right?

"Wassup Rya it's been a minute." Roscoe said holding his hand out for a dap. "Hey yall." I said walking right past him opening the door and closing it behind me. It's always some shit because why the whole dam crew sitting on the couch. "Wassup my heart." ddot said getting up hugging me, with nothing following behind him. Then I heard two sets of little footsteps. "Mommy." Mari said hugging me. I picked her up and held her while hugging sev. "Mommy do we have to go just yet I was having fun." Sev said whining. "No we're not leaving yet you can go back a play." I said. Notti started gesturing towards the couch where now everyone was sitting at and the only spot was next to DD. I walked over to the couch and sat in between ddot and DD with Mari on my lap. Damm she still got the broke ass couch after five years. It got indents all in and food stains lord.

"Well I wanna start and say sorry rya" Talia said standing infront of everyone.

"You good." I said shrugging my shoulders. "Can I get a hug please, your mom would've wanted us too." She said with her arms out. She must've lost her damm mind. "Uhh no, my mom would've wanted me to not even be here right now. Only reason I am here is because of my kids." "But I said I was sorry." I took a long ass sigh. Here we go. "Mari go play with your brother." I said putting Mari on the floor. "Okay mommy." She said running off. "Listing Talia sorry ain't nothing but a word. That's like putting a band aid on a broken window. Sorry ain't gon fix nothing that has happened or words that have been exchanged for the past five years." I said rubbing my hands on my legs. "Well you don't gotta be rude about it." Crissy said with an attitude. "I don't wanna hear nothing about being rude. I could've been way meaner folks." I said sitting up. Sia stood up and walked closer to me "What's with the attitude you ain't gotta be here you still ain't welcome bitch." "Yo chill" ddot said pulling her down. "You right I don't gotta be here." I said standing up walking over the the kids. "Sev and Mari come on we gonna go see teetee." I said picking Mari up. "Yay teetee!" Sev said standing up. "Say bye to everyone first y'all." I said pushing them towards the living room. "Bye bye guys." Sev said giving notti and ddot a hug. Mari just waved and did the same.

"Mann you ain't gon let them get to you is it." Notti said blocking the door. "Notti I said what I had to say. They don't know what I been through the past five years. When I was pregnant with the twins I went into a depression and is still lowkey in it, but I'm trying because I know that they need me. And the fact that they caused some of it and is trying to say sorry like it's gonna fix anything is bullshit." I said sliding on my shoes, pushing past him and leaving. "Mami, where you going." DD said sneaking up on me. "Somewhere that's not here, why you need to know?" "Because those my kids." He said leaving against the car door. "Now they yo kids that's crazy." I said. "Just take my number let me make it up to you please. Everyone in that house felt bad when Mari and sev walked through that door. And we know you don't take sorries but let us show you." DD said sliding his phone over. Why do I do this to my self every time? "There, I'll talk to you later DD." "Bye mami." He said closing my door.
