 "We working on our relationship right ma?" He questioned closing the trunk. "You right." I said

"Just come to the hospital." He said hanging up.

"DD we gotta go to the hospital, it the kids." I said sliding my sandals back on and running out the door.

"I'm here with child protective services. Due to the conditions that your two kids came in we would just like to ask you and them some questions."

"Ok so Esmari's lab results came in. Good news is she's not brain dead." I sighed in relief hearing that. "Bad news is that she's death in one ear. And partially death in the other. Evidently where I'm trying to get at is she will need hearing aids, or need to learn sign language." The doctor said with a look of sorrow.

"Dd just place the tables anywhere in this area." I said directing him to the area I want the tables at. "Notti can you place the food and candy tables against the house here." I told notti who was carrying three tables.

"Once you guys are done call me outside so I can put the decorations out." I yelled out to them. "Smells good in here" I said as I walked into the house. DD's mom and Melz were going some food for the party. Not all of it though I got some pizza and wing delivering later. They were more so cooking for the adults.

I walked to the living room to go fill up the rest of the goodie bags. And organize the candy bar so it can go outside. The inside is already decorated for the most part, it's just the outside that needs to be done. We got the bouncy house and castle done. Then I made a sandbox activity for the kids to dig inside the sand box and find little toys. And painting activities along with a person coming to do face paint and paint the girls nails. It's mostly family coming but it supposed to be a lot of kids.

"Rya, we done!" Notti yelled from the back door. I yelled back an okay and made my way to the back door with everything.

"Ok can't you guys out these table cloths on the table?" I asked the boy giving them the custom table cloths. "Then place the plates, silverware, cups, and napkins at the tables also. Please and thank you." I said going over to get the candy and food tables ready.

2 hours later

"Okay, just place the red carpet down then the two thrones at the end of it." I told edot who ending up coming to help set up about an hour ago. "Ok we are done setting up, thank you guys so much." I let out a sigh looking around the backyard. It was very nice and I was proud of my self.

"When the kids coming?" Melz asked.

"They are supposed to be here in a hour." I told her looking at my Apple Watch. "I also got some shirts for us to wear." I told them handing each of them a shirt. "Y'all can use the kids bathroom and the guest bathroom to get ready." I told them earning head nods and okays from everyone.

Me and Dd went to my room to get ready. "We could get in the shower together." Dd said calmly.

I turned my head looking at him crazy, "why would we do that?" I asked him grabbing my sweat shorts out of my dresser.
