[23: GENUINE HUG OF COMFORT : TRUTH]

Sunghoon sat in his kitchen and sighed before taking a sip of his drink.

"You fucking killer! I hate you!" Sunghoon couldn't stop hearing the same sentence in his head over and over.

Jake knocked on the door gently. "Go away." Sunghoon said. "Sunghoon. You haven't left your home in days. We're wondering if you're okay." Jake said softly.

Sunghoon opened the door and leaned on the doorframe. His freshly washed hair covered his face to hide is bloodshot eyes and dark circles. "I can't imagine how sad you are right now. But I don't think bed rotting is the solution." Jake said. Sunghoon slammed the door in his face.

Sunghoon sighed and slicked his hair back. He felt his eyes begin to sting and he fanned himself. He picked at the mark on his hand and sat down. He heard his phone and looked down to see Yunjin calling.

"Yeah?" Sunghoon asked, clearing his throat. "Today's my last day of rehearsals. Will you be attending?" Yunjin asked. Sunghoon went silent for a minute before responding. "Sure." He said.

Cheonsa curled up in the corner of her bed and tried to blend in with the pillows. Niki walked in the room and sighed, "Cheonsa." "I'm not here." Cheonsa sniffled. Niki sighed again and sat on the bed. "I know you're sad and all, but you can't just... lay here all day and sulk. Have you tried asking him about-"

"What is there to ask?! He's the reason my parents are gone Niki!" Cheonsa said. "He made a deal with them. And how could he have known they were your parents?" Niki asked.

Cheonsa blended into the covers more. "It's just that... knowing he did it. I never wanna see him again." She said, choking on her words.

Niki frowned. "You should go to practice. I wanna be alone." Cheonsa mumbled. "You sure..?" Niki asked softly. "Go." Cheonsa said. Niki nodded slowly and left.

Sunghoon sat in the stands with an emotionless expression on his face. Jake sat in the front row, ready to cue the music. "Ready?" Jake asked. Yunjin nodded. Jake turned on the music and Yunjin began dancing.

Sunghoon watched her and bit the side of his cheek. The only thing he could think of, was Cheonsa. He watched her glide across the ice with teary eyes. He blinked back the tears and shook his head, massaging his face. He even zoned out for a moment.

"How was it Mr. Park?" Yunjin asked. "It was good." Sunghoon replied. Jake got up and clapped his hands together, "I'm going on lunch." Sunghoon nodded and Jake left.

Yunjin looked at Sunghoon and sighed. "Wanna go get some lunch?" She asked. "I'm not hungry." Sunghoon replied. "Food solves all of your problems." Yunjin said. Sunghoon raised a brow, "actually?" Yunjin nodded. "We can get some ramen from the cafeteria."

"I thought you weren't hungry." Yunjin said. Sunghoon looked up with a mouth full of food. "This is just good." Sunghoon replied, wiping his eyes.

"I don't know what exactly happened. But I hope it gets worked out because I've never seen you so..." Yunjins words trailed off. "So what?" Sunghoon asked.

Yunjin got up and opened her arms. "What are we celebrating?" Sunghoon asked, looking around. "I'm offering a hug." Yunjin said. Sunghoon stared at her blankly.

Yunjin raised a brow. Sunghoon got up and hugged her. Yunjin hugged back and rubbed his back in circles. Sunghoon sighed and closed his eyes as silent tears streamed down his face.

"Mr. Park. You and I both know why you did what you did. She knows too. She'll come to you. So don't be sad, okay?" Yunjin said softly. "What if she doesn't?" Sunghoon asked. Yunjin sighed, "then it was just your fate." Sunghoon sniffled and just hugged her tighter.

Niki walked in the cafeteria and dropped his stuff in surprise.
