Siddharth's POV:

After changing into my comfortable clothes, I settled onto my bed and pulled out my phone.

As I scrolled through my messages, I came across the ones Alisha had sent. My heart fluttered with excitement, I opened it and was greeted by a series of adorable photos of her.

Her photos filled my screen, and a warm feeling washed over me. She looked radiant, her smile infectious, and I couldn't help but smile back at my phone screen.

I took a moment to capture the sweetness of her photos by saving them as screenshots, wanting to keep a piece of her happiness with me.

Her messages always brought a sense of joy to my day, and I couldn't resist responding to her adorable photos.

With a contented sigh, I typed.

"Beautiful Alisha🧿🤞🏻"

After sending my heartfelt message, I waited anxiously for Alisha's response.

When her reply popped up, I couldn't help but chuckle at her incredulous

Alisha: seriously?

Me: sach bolun toh !!

Me: Mai chahta tha aapko gulaab pesh krun, Kambakht aap khud gulaab thi, aapko gulaab kya deta.

Alisha: Uff , kese likhte lete ho aap ?

Me: Talent hai, par khabhi ghamand nhi kiya😌

Alisha: yhh yhh 😂

Me: it's already late and you must be tired you should sleep now.

Alisha: yhh you're right, Good night Prem!!

Me: Good night ma'am.

I felt a rush of happiness knowing that I could share such heartfelt sentiments with her.

*Next Day*

As I was on my way to college, a sight caught my attention-a small temple nestled between the buildings.

A sudden impulse led me to deviate from my usual route and enter the temple premises.

Inside, the air was heavy with the scent of incense, and the atmosphere felt serene.

I approached the altar, offering my prayers with a sincere heart. As I bowed my head, I noticed an elderly lady sitting nearby, her weathered hands clasped in prayer.

Something about her demeanor drew me closer, and I felt compelled to offer my assistance.

"Can I help you, Amma?" I inquired gently, approaching her with respect. She looked up, her eyes reflecting a lifetime of wisdom and experience.

With a warm smile, she accepted and I assisted her in lighting a lamp and arranging her offerings.

Gratitude shone in her eyes as she thanked me and then blessed me in a voice filled with sincerity.

Before I could react, she whispered something in my ear, her words carrying a weight of wisdom and significance.

"Repeat after me," she urged, and I found myself echoing her ancient incantations with reverence.

After our brief encounter, I bid the old lady farewell, feeling strangely uplifted and inspired by our interaction.

Sitting in class, I couldn't shake off the peculiar encounter with the old lady and her cryptic words.

I turned to Rohan, who arrived late, and questioned him about his tardiness. "You left early, didn't you?" I inquired, puzzled by his delay.

Rohan appeared lost in thought, his expression troubled. Amidst his contemplation, I heard a voice that caught my attention.

"I shouldn't have given mehbooba a love bite, kisi ne dekh liya to..."

Confusion clouded my mind as I glanced at Rohan, who appeared preoccupied.

"Did you say something?" I inquired, hoping to clarify what I thought I heard.

Rohan met my gaze before shrugging it off with a dismissive, "Nothing".

Despite his response, a nagging feeling persisted within me, urging me to delve deeper into the cryptic words I heard.

However, before I could dwell on it further, our teacher entered the classroom, signaling the start of the class and drawing my attention away from the mysterious utterance.
