Siddhart's Pov:

As we reached the room, Alisha and I locked eyes, sharing a moment of unspoken love and excitement. Suddenly, there was a knock on the door. I frowned, thinking,

"Who could be disturbing us now?"

Alisha chuckled softly, and I reluctantly went to open the door.

"Chal," Rohan said with a mischievous wink.

"Where?" I asked, raising my eyebrows.

He motioned towards the direction of the living room, indicating it was time for some drinks with friends.

"Oo, she'll not let me, bhai," I said dramatically.

Rohan pushed me to the side and entered the room, looking at Alisha with puppy eyes.

"Bhabhi, aapke husband ko le jaun thodi der ke liye?" he asked, using the word "bhabhi" for the first time, making Alisha blush.

She smiled and agreed, "Okay, but bring him back soon."

We went to the living room, where our friends were waiting. We drank and laughed as everyone teased me.

"Sid, you're officially a married man now. How does it feel to be tied down?" one friend quipped.

I grinned, raising my glass. "Feels like I've won the jackpot."

Another friend added, "Just remember, happy wife, happy life. That's the golden rule."

Rohan leaned in, slurring slightly from the drinks, "And don't forget, always apologize first, even if it's not your fault."

The teasing and advice went on for a while, filling the room with camaraderie and joy.

After some hours, Rohan and a few friends decided it was time to escort me back to my room.

We stumbled down the hallway, their drunken banter echoing around us.

"Sid, you know what to do on your first night, right?" one of them said, winking exaggeratedly.

"Yeah, Sid, don't be shy. You had your weapon and she has the path," another added, trying and failing to sound sage-like.

Another added, "And always, always keep chocolate handy. Women love chocolate!"

I chuckled, shaking my head at their antics. "Alright, alright, enough of your advice. I think I can handle it."

They left, still mumbling and laughing among themselves. I entered the room, a smile on my face and a blush on my cheeks, only to find my wife sleeping peacefully.

I walked to her side and saw her snoring lightly. My eyes fell on the table and I noticed the glass of milk was empty.

"Look at her, she drank my milk and now she's sleeping peacefully. How could you?" I said, making faces in mock indignation.

I quietly took off my kurta and slipped into bed beside her, wrapping my arms around her gently.

She stirred slightly, snuggling closer to me. I held her tightly, feeling the warmth of her body against mine.

As I lay there, I couldn't help but reflect on the day and the journey we had embarked on together.

This was just the beginning of our life as husband and wife, and I knew there would be many more moments like this, filled with love, laughter, and maybe a bit of chaos.

Whispering softly, I said, "I love you, Chandni. Always and forever."

With a contented sigh, I closed my eyes, holding my wife close as we drifted off to sleep.
